That's absolutely amazing. Better than #1 Indiana, better than #5 Oregon, better than anybody in the SEC despite #74's brilliance at holding for Alabama. :ROFLMAO:

Barnett and bunch have the last word . . . now show off one more time against Vandy.

Yeah, but part of this award I believe is pass blocking, isnt it
The pass blocking was excellent--16 sacks allowed in 12 games. What wasn't excellent was the ability of the QB to take advantage of that blocking, and that's a shame.

But again, the Big Ten dominates with all three offensive line finalists--Iowa, Indiana, and Oregon. No SEC outfit anywhere in sight. And, of course, the other two finalists are CFP contenders. It's a huge disappointment that Iowa isn't in there as well.

Pieper and Lauck are coming back too, before they play in the NFL.

Tremendous news. Guys totally deserve it. The story of how this unit started a few years ago, you'd never think it would be possible. Hats off to Coach Barnett for persevering, especially having to deal with Brian at the beginning, and making this unit the best of the best.

I recommend everyone check out the livestream, we get to see the team's reaction in real time:

Fully eating crow on this one. I was really disappointed the last few years but they were great this year.

I will also continue to argue having a mobile qb certainly helped.
The Moore committee views the film of the O Line not the QB

And I would say probably a repudiation of Brian F as OC. Brian was a good OLine coach and run game coord if you want to hang onto that promotion, I think Lester's blocking schemes also helped this group the last couple of years

Nailed it.

When the defense knows what's coming, it's pretty hard to open holes for the run and to pass protect on 3rd and LONG.

Sorry, I just want to win

This program continues to pump out amazing (non-skilled position) pro players all while we continue to miss the playoffs.

Awards are nice but I want a CFP trophy or at least the opportunity to win one!
So we do an Oklahoma and lose first round after burning multi-millions is that good enough? We don't even have anywhere close to their money.

Loved the part where Aaron Taylor talked about how special it is with these guys in an era where dudes can just jump from team to team and these guys have stuck together. That comes down to Kirk.

With Pieper and Lauck back in 2026 (before lucrative NFL careers) Iowa has 40% of a very good OL before spring ball has even started.

We all would love a naty, probably will never happen with the current state of all NCAA sports. Not much of a level playing field! But this award is huge for these guys and you just crapped all over it. Please take a breath and think instead of being so emotional.

I think we have 60% of one because Leighton Jones was good enough this year to start.....except in front of Pieper and Stephens. Need to figure out Center and Right Tackle.
