Is he injured in some way- this cant be what an OFFENSIVE LINEMAN from NEBRASKA can do healthy?

As a 183 lb RB age 19- I would do 8 with 2 plates as a warm up on heavy days- 225
When I was 40 181 lbs- could still do 6

Looks like the average Olineman was in the mid 20s

That is seriously awful for a guy his size. People were shitting on McCafferey for only doing 10 last year and he's an RB!

If anyone cares the two Iowa OL are right next to him results wise at 20 & 21 reps apiece (Welsh, Daniels respectively)
For what it’s worth those Iowa guys have higher draft ratings than Gates. I’d say he did his part on the bench. In the end, he’d be lucky to be drafted IMO or invited as a free agent to a camp.
The worst bench result of the day was Oklahoma’s Orlando Brown with 14 reps
