Heard a great story from Jim Valvano at a coaches clinic in D.C. back in 1983. He was talking about his coaching career and he was talking about how very few high school kids knew about Iona.
He walked up to one recruit, stuck his hand out and said "Hi. I'm Jim Valvano. Iona College."
The kid took his hand and said to him, "Man you look awful young to be owning your own college."
