This is where I must leave you. I'm guessing you won't miss me.

You guys are getting a good head coach and he will have some solid seasons for you in Nebraska. Your defense may be a work in progress as folks in Orlando were already tiring of busted defenses constantly giving up 70 yard touchdowns. I don't expect Frost to fire Chinander as he is one of his very best friends.

I'm going to leave you with one complaint. Your athletic department is full of low class jerkoffs. For them to start releasing contract details and "done deals" to the media while the UCF game was still going .... well. ... that is just unfortunate. When you have high paid adults that are supposed to be experts at working with young student athletes have that little consideration for another team's student athletes busting their butts on the field, you have impending problems. Maybe not this year, but they will come. The stink doesn't just wash off in the shower.

Please spare me the "we didn't do it" and "Moos never said anything" and "We didn't release our press release till after the game". If you don't understand how media works, then read a book. The media didn't just decide to make up a bunch of stuff in the 4th quarter for the heck of it. Nebraska was releasing it to their contacts.

Also spare me any "sour grapes" messages. We are undefeated and just won our 3rd conference championship in the last 6 years. We are good. Reports are that we will have a new coach in the next few days .... and he may very well be as good or better than our last one. Our team is loaded with freshman and sophomores and we stand a good chance of going undefeated again next year. Frost is gone. We've mostly known it for 2 weeks now and have dealt with it.

Well good for you..we've known it longer than two weeks so there. And did it occur to you the press release time was predetermined based on your game time? I'm sure Scott himself knew when it would be released and no one predicted the game would go to OT.

And that's how big boy football works...kudos to our AD for getting maximum exposure for the announcement. Sorry you are so butt hurt.

Ironic, because your post demonstrates that you don't understand how media works. Press releases are sent to media contacts with an expectation/understanding that they will go public at X time (in this case, 4:00). That should have been plenty sufficient for a game that started at 11:00 until it went into double OT.

It's unfortunate that the news became official during the game, but that's not due to our athletic department being full of "low-class jerkoffs" as you say. Of course it was released in advance. Welcome to the adult world. Had the game not ran close to five hours, that wouldn't have been a problem.

Like you said, you've basically known it for two weeks. All of us have. So I'm not sure why your butthurt is so extreme. At any rate, I'm glad Frost could take your school to an undefeated season. We're certainly happy to welcome him home.

And if he is, he'll probably leave too. You got two choices, you could be gracious or be bitter and act like a jerk. You chose the second option. I'd say good luck in the future, but I really don't mean it.

Well done. A nice topic followed by 4 paragraphs of bile and butthurt.

BTW. You guys are good, agreed. And every year that you're good you can look forward to not being in the top 10 and playing in the Peach Bowl. Which is why every year that you are good your coach will be on a plane somewhere else.

Actually the third, and best option, is probably to just say nothing and go do one of the many hundreds of thousands of activities in the Orlando area that most people choose to do instead of attending UCF games. Problem solved.

Also, you're not very good at this. We're 3-1 against PSU and 2-1 against UM since joining the B1G. If you're gonna talk ****, you might wanna try not being a f***ing idiot.

Sour grapes man, you don't want to hear it but your winning team means nothing w he you post anyway. Sour grapes indeed.

It was likely UCF leaked it days ago scrambling for a new coach for themselves. Congratulations on the win. Sounds like you need a nap

I'm not a fan of using the term bluebloods. However, the series all time is tied with Michigan and we own the series with Penn State. Ohio State, OSU owns.

So its a push there Brutus.

Maybe there was added urgency to getting the press release out, due to all the expert hot takes swearing up and down that Frost would only leave UCF for Gainesville. Frost going to NU was such a monumental upset that it was deemed to be breaking news.

Just read the article. Since when does "ESPN staff" whoever that is get to decide who's a blueblood? Looks like it was written by a middle school student. Ha ha, what a joke!

They know more than you do. We rank 4th in all time wins, 5 national titles, FSU just broke our consecutive bowl streak, etc etc. Plenty of evidence to support it.

I liked you at first. I kept reading until you fell apart.

1) All are welcome here. If you bring something here, it is my understanding, you are welcome. We aren't like other harsh boards.
2) Our AD is low class? And.... jerks? Oh. My. Gosh. You have flattened me. Ruined my night. Ok. Ready for reality? There is no way that announcement happens without Scott's permission. All parties would have agrees on a time. It just so happens that things were tied at the time of. Oh ok... that's an excuse... how jerky am i!!!
3)I've read many books. Are you sure the media didn't make stuff up? So... you believe the media is truthful? You sound pretty assured about the media...
4)if you don't have sour grapes, then why are you here? What is your objective? Sour apples? Sour kiwi? Is that permissible?
5)Whoa... that's pretty neat! Got any money to put where your mouth is on that UCF bet? What if you are wrong? Will you come back and tell us you we're? Or...?

You're silly, Branch. So, silly.

What exactly is the metic for being a blueblood? MIchigan, they have exactly one half of one NC in over 60 years (since 1950-the first year wearing real helmuts) and they're considered a blueblood? The whole discussion is warped. I guess all those wins against the Univ of Chicago really count.;)

LSU, Florida, Miami, Florida St? Those teams didnt start winning until the '80's and 90's so why would they even be considered?

Go look at the schools that have the most wins since 1950 (the very beginning of what is considered modern day football). Go look at the teams that have the best bowl records, that have won the biggest (major) bowl games. Go look at the schools that have produced the most NFL players, most Top Ten finishes. Go look at the schools that consistently recruit well, etc. etc.

Those are the metrics that count, and that stupid article was about as shallow as one could be:

These are the bluebloods: Nebraska, Oklahoma, ND, Ohio St, Penn St, Michigan, USC, Texas, and USC. When you talk about the others its really comparing "old money" to "new money" thus the term "blue blood".

Penn State finally beat us this year for their first victory over us since we joined the B1G. We are 3-1 against them in the B1G. And we have a 2-1 record against Michigan since joining the B1G. Do some research before you post, dumb f**k..
