Red Rocks has spoiled all other concert venues for us...... Greenfield Lake in Wilmington now #2.

Just added on an October Lucinda Williams & two of the Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings Grateful Dead shows. So glad they're bringing it into the southeast

Just did two nights of Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country at the Ryman. Both nights were incredible. So much fun. Set 2 of second night was a funky country rock disco dance party.

Sad for him that it wasnt close to sold out (suprising given his home town), but it was nice having plenty of space around us. Jolene was the Dolly tribute and they did a great job. Recommend everyone checking them out if you can. They're coming to CLT on 9/25 but its a co-headline bill and outdoors, so not expecting it to be the best represenatation of their potential. Been fun watching them evolve over the last 5 years.

Iron Maiden and Megadeth was a great show! My son had a blast in the pouring rain. Next up: Zac Brown Band.

2027 has already started! We now have sandbar tickets for Kenny Chesney and Eric Church. Shooting for Metallica tickets for my son's (14-year-old) birthday.

My cousin lives in Wilmington and raves about Greenfield Lake. Sadly, I have not made it to a show there yet, but it is on the list.

It's terrific--outdoors, pretty surroundings and intimate.
We caught the Pixies at the Wilson Center here in Wilmington on Wednesday night. I always regretted missing them at Cat's Cradle back in the day, so it checked a box for me. They were fantastic.

And to the Caverns question. Not yet. Playing the Gorge sometime in the near future too.

Agree on the Maiden/Megadeth. Fun night and both bands did exactly as expected. Rain didnt dampen things at all from my perspective, but glad I took a poncho.

Saw The Mars Volta last Tuesday at the newly renovated Neighborhood Theater. First time seeing them and it was good. 80 mins, so was out by 10:20 which I was not upset with, TBH.

This week is Donato/Tuttle/Houndmouth on Friday. Think I'm also gonna make the drive for the Donato Greensboro show on 10/8. Then Clutch a week later and hopefully Sturgill/Johnny Blue Skies in Atlanta (if my work trip doesnt fall through) will round out October. Deer Tick and Jack White in November.

2027 confirmed so far is 5 nights of Billy Strings in Asheville. Eyeing the Metallica Raleigh.

One of my daughter's friends played The Caverns and said it was awesome. It is now on my list of venues to see a show.

Since it won ‘Best Musical’ - I think that counts as a ‘concert’.

Saw Phish at the Sphere earlier this year and it was amazing. That's a bucket list venue. I've been to Red Rocks too (saw My Morning Jacket there two nights in a row which was an incredible experience), but you gotta see the Sphere at least once, it is something like no other.

Just bought Metallica tickets for next year and can't wait...that's one I had never checked off of my list.
