1. Legion Field was eveything that I thought it would be. Ghetto.

2. Tyler Russell should be our QB from now on. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so I thought I would bring it up.** It's amazing how much better our offense works and looks when we can pass and run. It's also amazing how much better Les Koenning becomes as a play caller as well.

3. Blaine Clausell is a *****.

4. John Hevesey is awesome. He put on a show chewing out the o-line in the first half. Complete with board punch. Dan got in on the act too- you could hear him up in row 36. I knew it was getting good down there when parents started to move their kids away from the fence. Mr. Hevesey- I know some lame MSU fans may say something about you cursing and yelling, but I encourage you to keep kicking ***.

5. Next week is big- it's not a must win, but if we win, we are starting to look more like a seven win team than a six win team. We might be able to turn our season around a little bit with a win and get our swagger back a little bit.

6. Chris Relf- Are you seriously blaming Les for not calling enough deep passes? Seriously? If I were Les, I would call your dumb *** for not smoking pot and not working hard enough to get better. But I would probably have mercy on you since you have seven brain cells- and they are all occupied by the six plays that you can run. Maybe if you worked on your deep passing game and not hanging WR's out to dry, maybe Les would dial those plays up for you.

each time this morning I've read Relf's quote, I keep having the image of Michael Carr wide-*** open on the post against Auburn, and Relf missed him so badly, Carr dove and still didn't touch it.

compared to what Heavesy and Mullen were saying to them on the sidelines.

We should have Clausell turn around when he lines up since he seems to have great skills at moving backwards.

it's mop up duty, Russell is hurt,or we're running the QB sneak out of the goal line formation on 4th and short. We know how the story goes at MSU when a quarterback has issues in his head. It never works out well, time to move on.

I was standing at the fence admiring hevesy's "encouragement"when mullen showed up.
When Mullenstarted in it was a thing of beauty!! Mullen would have made John Cohen blush.
I feel pretty good Gabe Jackson was not dominating the "a" gap prior to Mullens recomendation.
Sure is nice having a coach doing things the rightway.

I agree that this Saturday is not a must win to get to the 6 win mark but I believe it is definitely our last chance to get to 7-5. I watched AL and ARK yesterday I just can't see us beating AL anywhere we play them nor do I see us beating Ark in Little Rock.

On #6, in a lot of ways I do feel bad for Chris in that I believe he HAS absolutely worked his tail off just to get to the level he's currently at. Its just he doesn't have, and will never have, the natural born skill set to be an SEC caliber passing QB. If we don't have the OL to be a run oriented offense he doesn't need to be in there. However I'm a little stunned he made the comments he did yesterday given the repeated opportunities this coaching staff has actually given him this season to throw the ball downfield. But you can't keep doing something if it NEVER works and this year when he throws the ball downfield (outside of the Memphis game) its almost a guaranteed incompletion or interception. The downfield shot we took against UAB with Relf was an interception but we lucked out that they did call an interference on the play.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we get the **** fined out of us next week. It will be all maroon in the stands (remember all the USCe tickets they returned), a sellout crowd and the cowbells will be relentless. It will be worth the fine for anSEC victory

Anyone who was at the Arkansas game last season will probably tell you that it was one of the loudest games they've been to @ DWS, and the cowbell rules were followed to near perfection. Yelling, with sound traveling in the direction of the field, is a lot louder than a ringing cowbell with most of the sound going skyward. Why anyone who was at that game last year would think that the cowbells would be louder than that, is beyond me.The crowd inside DWS was at it's absolute best and loudest that game.
