Complaining Midgame is pathetic

I was busy during the first half of the game and wasn't able to catch the score. So I come on here with about 10 minutes left in the game before checking the score elsewhere and from the posts figured we were down 20. So I check the score, and we're down by 6 (53-47). I even read a post claiming Stansbury was the worst coach in the SEC and that this team has regressed from last year with everyone returning. My question is, do you morons actually believe the **** you post on here, or do you just enjoy jerking your knee with every made basket by the opposition? I suppose we should win every game 100-0 or else our offense is pathetic and our defense is lazy. We have the 3rd best record in the SEC in the last 10 years and probably one of the top 2 defenses. And fyi, we're 15-3 this year and might be ranked next week. I only hope that some of these retards didn't actually earn a degree from Mississippi State.

And if you'd seen the first 30 or so minutes, you'd understand better why people were bitching. We weren't prepared to play and the players didn't play with any effort in the 1st half. It was pitiful. To Stans' credit, we got it turned around enough to win.

so, while not quite 20, we were in a pickle. We had to fight through sluggishness today for the win.

Hardly pathetic.

Saying we are playing like crap when we are in fact at that time playing like crap is accurate...not pathetic.

That doesnt mean the team cant turn it around and actually get a clue.

If complaining midgame is pathetic, then it would stand to reason complimenting midgame is also pathetic for the same reason.

I ain't gonna lie. I turned to another channel pissed off cause we lost. But I'm not going to come here and ***** about it, it's one game in a long season. Glad I got to go back and watch my recording of it.

And yet every team is down at some point. If not for John Wall's heroics, Kentucky would have lost a couple games by now and they're supposedly the national championship team to beat. Texas barely beat Arkansas. I log on here, and people are saying Stansbury should be fired because we are down by 10 points to a team that was close against Kentucky in the last week.

The hyperbole here was ridiculous, people were saying Stansbury was the worst coach ever, and yet we've only lost 3 games all year. It was hyperbole and it is in fact retarded to go off the deep end the way that many did here. It was not rational, it was not logical. The posts I read on here midgame were in fact pathetic. If they had simply been complaints about the game, it would be a different story. But it was much more than that.

Rationality has no place here. We're losing at halftime, Stans is the worst coach ever and should be fired. We come back to win. Hooray! Stans is awesome! There is no middle ground.

basketball that takes it toll on the fans. We play in spurts and appear unable to play a complete game. Because of our makeup, we have to rely a good bit on the 3-point shot--which, when we are off adds to our frustration. Bottom line, we want to win; but we don't play disciplined, crisp basketball that consists of good sets.
