I have seen virtually no change over the years with home games. Most all schools schedule cup cakes at home. Deciding to pay more for home games is a choice everyone makes.

In order to get those power 5 teams to come to Rupp,UK is going to have to return the game at their place then fans will be moaning about not enough home games or losses should the Cats get beat.Having one or two good quality games at Rupp and some solid mid majors come in is a good mix considering how we are built and the SEC getting better.Nothing wrong with how UK is scheduling

But where are those one or two solid games at Rupp, outside of UofL every other season. I would have no problem setting up a couple of games with power 5 where you play one team home and another team away and then switch. I am just tired of all the really good games being away from Rupp, we play a harder schedule than most top 10 teams in general but our best games are usually away from the state.

I understand what your saying but it's just hard to not over schedule and put our kids in a tougher situation early on.Thats one reason North Carolina dropped the home and home series with us.It was simply due to the ACC expanding leauge games and UNC already facing over scheduling.I like our schedule as is.Id like to see Murray State or Belmont added as both would give our kids early season tests and there are other high quality mid majors we can get.We already have the ESPN challenge and CBS challenge and the SEC big 12 games so it's not like we don't face solid teams but the home schedule is what it is
