Joe Burrow threw for 4,366 passing yards in the 2019 regular season. That's over 12 games, four of them vs. non-SEC opponents. He threw for 2,900 yards in the eight regular season SEC games (average 362.5/game). With the abbreviated and all-SEC season, you could argue that 3,625 passing yards in 2020 would compare to Burrow's 2019 regular season. Costello would have to average 333.6/game over the next nine games to hit 3,625 passing yards on the year.

Not trying to overreact to one game. Just something to watch.

I think Costello will go over 3,625 pretty easily, and maybe over 4,366 in just 10 games.

Looked up, the record for passing yards per game in one season is 467.3 – David Klingler. Could be interesting to watch as well. Especially if we are in a lot of close enough games that you can't really bench Costello early like you normally would in most of the out-of-conference games.
