True college basketball is gone, at least like I have known my whole life of 58 years. If you want to watch players that play solely for the team you might as well watch Lindsey Wilson or Campbellsville or some other NAIA team. It’s very sad.

We had the deepest pockets last year. None of the top players wanted it bad enough to play for Pope. Money is the most important thing for most but you still need a good Coach who creates a good (winning) culture.

I hear what you're saying, but there are multiple, credible reports out there that some of our top targets took less money to play elsewhere.
