Hear me out.... Roses thinks it is because he just wants to see other schools, once in a lifetime, "wants to take the visit for the experience." That is what the Eulls are telling Rosebowl anyways.

My cousin and Kaleb are friends in Yazoo City. Said he was very disappointed that State didn't offer him chance to play DE. Want him to bulk up to DT. He is adament about playing DE for some reason. Thus trip to Alabama.

This is not socking news since he is a soft commit now in light of visiting Alabama, but thought we could possibly end up with only 1 true freshmen defensive linemen- Virges. Have Carmon coming in as well, but Eulls made me feel better about Thompson if he chose UM. Anxious to see what transpires over weekend for sure.

that bama has 4 stars now sitting the bench .. that's how deep they are. if kaleb goes to bama, chances are he'll be in the exact same position, unless of course he's just awesome, which he may be.

anyways, if this is true, mullen and now diaz better get the situation stabilized.

He could play end or tackle. It seems like we are stronger at tackle this year anyway. I can see them saying that no you are not going to play QB ie Jimmy Johns but I really doubt they are ruling out end.

Where did you hear they told him he could not play end? An actual friend of his? In his interviews on bdj he has said he wants to play end, but may put on some weight to play DT, and didn't sound like he had a problem with it either way.

have family in Yazoo who know them. I gathered the same from BDJ as well. Asked Paul to see if he knew anything. Just thought it was odd since he committed he has been an avid State supporter, ie. Tyler Russell last year for us, in recruiting.

Yeah, I saw your post on bdj just now. The more I think about it, just doesn't seem right. Mullen seems to give most of these guys a choice between Offense and Defense, so why not give Eull's an opportunity at DE instead of DT. Not to mention the way we interchanged our d-line. Of course, that may all change with the new staff.

They are telling recruits whatever they want to hear. If the dude's taking a visit to Alabama, then it must mean he's interested in Alabama, if only a little. Fletcher Cox did the same last year.

Some of you are plain dumb when it comes to recrootin.

Believe me, I don't want it to be true! I see both sides, on one side is why would we turn down a 4* recruit and not tell him whatever the hell he wants to hear to get him at State. Other side this is guy has been committed to us right after Carr I believe from West Point and then all of a sudden wants to see Alabama. Situation worth watching I think.

and Eulls has been just as solid as Cox was. I see absolutely no reason to be worried about losing him. I mean, last year there was the HEAD coaching change to consider, not the D-Line coach.

Alright Ed. While we're on the subject, can you go ahead and tell me what Sanders and Thompson are going to do? Maybe a super secret OL committ you know about? For the record, I understand coached tell recruits whatever they want to hear, and I have no fear of losing Eulls.

to go to bama instead. One would think that a 100% committed recruit would want to come in with all the other potential teammates. Was he one of our commits that always says he was calling and recruiting other players? Having a commit of his caliber, nay you forget his badass hero status, would look pretty impressive to other recruits.

I saw Robert Johnsons facebook page, and on it it says that he wants to go to florida state after he graduates to "complete his dream of going to the NFL"

about having the best 11 players on the field that helps us win. Not systems and rules, etc... He has been a strong commit for us for so long, would hate to lose him now. Now that we have our defensive staff in place, they can put the hard push till signing day.

We didn't have a DC or even a DL coach until a few hours ago. I'd say those are the two main people that will make that call.

Also, scout no longer has him listed as "soft verbal". Did he blow off the visit?
