Do you think all of the kids from UK will get an invite? I'm not so sure Weyen will get one and really don't know if Vanderbilt can go or not due to lower leg injury. Maybe Washington spikes enough interest to get an invite. May bet would be Weyen -no and other two -yes with feedback saying "go back to school".

Washington will probably get an invite. He's probably a late second round pick if he stays in the draft, and those guys get invites with a stipulation that they have to work out and do drills.

if they use common sense they will come back. If you can’t get a combine invite, you shouldn’t even be thinking about the NBA.

If they don’t make it to the combine, how else can they market themselves? I know they can get invited in for private workouts, is that pretty much it?

I think they will all be.
I think Gabriel has a higher ceiling and thus a better chance to get drafted than Washington.

Neither has a high NBA ceiling, but they could both end up being solid college players. And who knows?, maybe could win a National Title.

"236 early entry candidates, including 181 college players and 55 international prospects" have declared for the NBA Draft.

Geez... The might want to change the name from "combine" to "circus."

I mean yeah it’s a lot, but it is free advice and if it was my kid even if he wasn’t projected 1st round I tell him to at least put his name in to see what they say.

I agree with you and I would tell my sons to do the same thing. I just think the number is incredible and I can see where a player can be overlooked with all those players trying for 60 spots. Jmo.

Apparently Brian Bowen and Tyus Battle have both received invites. So I would think more info would start leaking out.

So when are we going to know who was and was not invited? Thought there would be an announcement on Friday.

Injuries, and those that decide not to participate in the scrimmages. All this is easily obtained via google. They go a little over knowing some will get injuries and others might get a promise and pull out of the combine/scrimmage. Not sure why anyone would think there is no limit, there has always been a limit to any combine in every sport

Then why were there 67 that participated last year?

Not sure why you you would think that injuries and guys not participating would make the number of participants increase. Math doesn't work that way. There were 77 invites last year and 10 that decided not to participate, leaving 67 that actually went to the combine. I can provide a link to back up what I'm saying, can you provide anything backing up your claim of 60 only?
