Colorado is the last place you want to take your 7 year old trust me.
Exactly, it’s not a spring game atmosphere..

For crying out loud why wouldn’t you want to take your son for his first game watching Nebraska play in Memorial stadium..

Be prepared to shell out, because even at face value these tickets are way overpriced. Market might soften, though, if TCU takes the Buffs to the woodshed.

I don’t care if it’s a 1sr game or 10th. Not a chance I take him to Colorado. I have been a couple of times . I am 59 never again.

Yep. Sure is the wife almost took a gun to my head spending that much against a team that only won one game..

Take him to Colorado? Sure. To a sCUm game? I think I'd pass.
Lots of groomers and chomos around there, so if you do go, keep him in sight at all times.

I wouldnt take a youngster to CU just because they are trash in general but as far as feeling threatened I wouldn’t worry much. Was there in 07 and 09, their fans are pos drugged out losers and rich white kids who don’t give a ****. Colorado university sucks and can’t wait to give their ****** buttplug of a coach his 2nd loss of the season.

There's zero chance I'd take my 7 year old to Folsom. Especially this year.

Before you worry about Colorado tickets, OP, you need to hope the team doesn't find trouble in downtown killeapolis, MN.

How's that for a positive post?

Been to two games there and didn't have a problem personally, saw a fireworks show as well, again no issue.....gorgeous area, CU should be better at football than they are. Maybe Deion will get em there.

All these negative comments drive me nuts so thanks for the positive one! 😊
I think you'll have a great time - I just feel the game is way overpriced. Last time NU played in Boulder, I bought tickets on behalf of a relative who was taking a group to the game. Those seats are almost twice as much this year.

But like I said, some of the people holding tickets might put them on the market after the Buffs play TCU.

If TCU curb stomps CU you should be able to find a ticket very easy. Most of those ***** aren’t real fans

Colorado is great, but Boulder is filled with left wing garbage, rich white kids from California who are social justice warriors and bunch of Karen’s. Avoid it at all costs.

I have to echo the sentiments of some of the other posters. You don’t want a 7 year old to hear the names the kid will be called. It’s not a fun experience, it would be traumatic.

Might soften? Prices will plummet when they lose big to TCU. Big time. Fairweather city.
Oh yeah, but it’s still the first home game of the overhyped Coach Prime era. Won’t be like the past few years when you could go to campus with a $20 bill and be pretty sure you would find a ticket.

Not sure what your background is, Schüle…

CU isn’t anything like a place with rabid, dedicated fans. If TCU pounds them, and they likely will, their students will sell their tickets en masse. Bank it.

The worst years were the McCartney years as I went to a few away games in Boulder while he was still the coach. The last time back then that I went, I went with my best bud and his fiance and she got a cup of urine poured over the top of her head.

Of course they're not dedicated fans, but the Deion hype train won't die after just one loss.

I wish this game was in November. Then I would plan on getting in for about $30.

Scalp near the stadium for the NU game for FAR less than $300-400. Seriously.

True, you will get shot and stabbed and have feces thrown on you. Someone might even take your hat right off your head. The last part happened to my father-in-law in 1973. He never recovered.
