Please remember us playing them last week was their super bowl... they got up for that game... they didn’t get up for this game.... with that said they were and are still crappy and we should have won... that game stung a metric **** ton... but there is no changing what happened now so why dwell on it any more?

Our players talked all week before the game how there was a target on Colorado, after last year's game. We wanted it just as bad. Face it, our program is currently at the talent level of a service academy.

Considering Army almost beat Michigan I’d settle for the execution level of a service academy.

Meh- id say that’s debatable... I’m not saying we weren’t up for the game either... and I will say that our talent level is not where people would hope and wish for it to be... but I think you’re being a little dramatic on your take of where our talent is at currently... but that’s just me

Execution matters, even with top talent 3 deep at every position.

I wonder sometimes about our aggressiveness. We have moments of it but we often end up playing bad ball in conservative land.

Montez is a bum. How did we blow a 17-point lead against him?
He attempted 91 passes in 2 games against Nebraska, and completed 67% of them (same % as the Husker QB that you gush over)...and only threw 1 interception despite being sacked 13 times. He's no All-American, but I think he's a little better than you're giving him credit for.

Well, at least we get to be happy and make fun of the team that beat us last week!

Yes....I'm sure there's no overall-wearing, flabby-boobed Husker fans....
Geezus, get out of here dumbass cu fan. Your team got a fortunate victory last week and a loss today, maybe you should be on buff boards crying with the other 30 IQ cu dorks.

Colorado is a dogshit team that is going to fight with Oregon State tooth and nail for last place in the dogshit PAC.

It was our hope that we were past losing to dogshit teams after last season, but not so. We very likely managed to lose to the worst team on our schedule last weekend.

I actually have zero problem with Air Force winning today, and I kind of thought they would….

You seem kind of triggered...need a safe space?

I think it’s funny that so many on here criticize CU for the Nebraska game being their “Super Bowl”, while the Husker players yapped all week heading into the game, and there was an obvious “getting revenge” atmosphere within Big Red nation….and then there’s this thread on the CU-AF game, with at least 50 people leaving comments…on a Husker forum no less….and somehow I’m the loser. OK.

Yeah…I wanted Colorado to win last week. I’m on here because 1) I respect the Nebraska program and what they’ve done, 2) I enjoy reading comments from the respectful, realistic, and good-natured people on here, 3) I live here in Nebraska, and 4) it’s a free country. You’ll also notice I don’t call anyone names when I disagree with them…..

Seems to me that yapping all week and being bent on getting revenge (something that Osborne, Solich, and Pelini never allowed) for last year might not have been the best approach. Looks to me like Air Force just showed up and played….and won.

When did I gush over Martinez? I've been pretty critical of him. Air Force's option QB looked better in the passing game than Martinez.

Montez has only looked decent against the garbage defenses of Nebraska and most of the Pac-12.

OK....you may not have, but you can't tell me that there aren't loads of people in here that have.

And, be honest....how much have you really paid attention to Montez in his 4 years?

Heck...I think Martinez a pretty good player....probably the best QB in Lincoln since Crouch.

Thought he missed that extra in OT at first, and that 47 was huge. Good for him. Long live option football, the great equalizer.

I
The player didn't yap all week, they answered specific question about the Colorado game. Of course they say they want revenge after getting beat last year. It was a buff writer that made a big deal about the buff LB dirty play last year. Get over yourself.

Now you can leave. Talk about triggered, you write a book about yapping and yet here you are, yapping about cu. Go to your buff boards where you belong, trigger!
