Ex Kentucky player Dwight Anderson and Bronny lol...do they count, only ones I know of

[RunninRichie]

Ex Kentucky player Dwight Anderson abd Bronny lol...do they count, only ones I know of

OJ Mayo, Demar Derozan

[Stenchymouse]

If our staff really thinks we're getting Stokes, I would have expected this.

Name 2 players that Pope has committed for next year

[bbnkat02]

Dude turns down UofL and UK to go to a football school. Pope is sucking at recruiting but you can’t fix stupid- he will get little to no exposure out there expect in the LA market.

It’s where Rod Rhodes transferred to.

You can't fix Pope

[Dr.LutherSan]

Say whatever you want about Musselman, but the guy can recruit. If he can sell Fayetteville to elite players, you know he can sell Los Angeles.

Do USC fans even know they have a basketball team?

[JustBlue]

Who can name 2 players that played at USC?

Baby Jordan and White Mamba

Lol doubtful. However, they are one of the very, very rare Power 5 teams that UK has never beat. I think there are only like 3.

May he catch something when he palms a greasy ball with something attached to it. We'll never have to worry about him.

I’m not sure Mark Pope can recruit one of his daughters to play for UK

[kfwa]

I saw multiple people saying he was including Kentucky for clout. Could just be sour grapes but this was days ago.

might have even resulted in more NIL money for him.

[OliverSimmonsTwinBrother]

At least JMI gets some of the hat sales that top recruits are using to not pick us, hopefully.

Also, obviously not feeling coming off the bench to be Noah's backup next year. It's fine he didn't understand the assignment.

[dckala2_]

cali kids choses cali school. never easy getting a west coast kid to leave home.

Actually he did have a connection to UK with one of the assistants. However, the family wasn't happy with JMI calling the shots. All this was in a posted article in another thread.

Dumb and Dumber

Ouch. Coach Pope, hardly knew ya

[JimboBBN]

Would love to say I’m disappointed but this is who we are until Pope is gone

Dwight Anderson transferred from UK to USC.

If whiff can drum up about 8-10 million for an unproven Stokes who is rumored to have a bad attitude and terrible mouth. We might have a chance with him. It will be pure entertainment watching him be coached by someone that won’t even say the S word.

And just like that, he was never heard from again. Good luck playing in anonymity.

[true-blue1]

Are we surprised? I'm not

[MidseasonTweak]

USC is strange. They have had some nice talent out of high school go there and then the rest of college basketball ignores the school/games while they have another underwhelming season.

[Tri-Countycat]

I’d pick Mussleman over Pope and he is a certified Coke head.

Just blows me away when guys want to go to a non basketball school.
I have watched a lot of basketball from schools not named Kentucky but I can't remember the last time I have seen a USC basketball game.

Like you come here for the massive crowds, cult following, and in the end if you are decent enough you will never be forgotten by said massive crowds. I have zero USC guys in my brain, NOT 1. If you told me a good player was from USC I would be shocked lol.
