Davis out is interesting. Made the NCAAT in 4 out of 5 years, with a National Championship appearance and a Sweet16 appearance. Also won the conference one year and finished second one year.

I get that its UNC, but results wise- that isnt exactly bad.

It's North Carolina. The NC appearance was 5 years ago in his first season. Since then, he's won 2 NCAA games in 4 years. That's just not good enough.

UCLA firing Howland was far worse in my mind, And he was much more successful at UCLA than Davis was at UNC.
