yes but what if Langdon gets injured next game, Snyder burns his redshirt.
I would play him now and not the last few games against the likes of OSU.
Who cares about burning Snyder’s redshirt? What are the chances he’d end up starting in 2023? It’s crazy to worry about the 2023 season when you can’t complete a 10 yard pass.
See what the kid can do. He would still have 2 games in the bank. Plus Art still owes us a game.
Man we haven’t heard from The red shirt people in a while. In college football you play when you can. There’s no guarantee anyone’s going to play all four years and the idea that Cole Snyder is the starting quarterback for years isn’t absurdity. If he has a chance to play this year he should be playing
Fully agree about trying Cole Snyder. He can't be any worse than Langam who may be the worst Div 1 QB I've ever seen. His throws aren't even hitting the hands of a receiver ( unless it's Minnesota gopher) let alone being caught. Just a horror show.
This. The ineptitude is like nothing I've ever seen. Redshirt means nothing at this point. Throw a forward pass please.
Nunzio addressed this in his presser this week. He basically indicated Snyder is not ready and Langan is the starter. Does not sound like he will see the field.

I want to see Pacheco at QB. Who gives a frack right now. This is beyond PATHETIC.
I am so tired of hearing he is only a freshman. King, Woods, Snyder and anyone else should get a shot at playing at least a series or two every game. It’s not like it can hurt anymore than our offense now. Young is a freshman too but he is in there his brother was a freshman last year and played well and got better every game. Give them a chance to show up and show out. You can’t develop them while they sit on the bench that’s for sure.
Game 8 next week, no Snyder. Game 9 and thereafter I expect to see him at times as his redshirt is preserved. Not really fair to ask him to burn his redshirt while a kid who is considered better at this point in time sits to preserve his. I would think it was hard for Sit to watch yesterday knowing good qb play probably has us closer than 14-0 at the half, but maybe he has already checked out permanently.

Don’t get your hopes up. Snyder has been running the scout team until recently. Has only gotten meaningful reps with the team playbook for a few weeks.
Nunzio’s remarks last week indicate that Snyder is not ready and unlikely to play. Does anyone really want to see Snyder behind center vs OSU and PSU?
Nunzio appears to be going all the way with Langan. If Langan gets hurt we’ll likely see Snyder or Quitkowski.

Yes he did. A ray of hope. And nothing against Langan. Like Artur, the kid is taking a major beating. He has to stop punishing himself on runs late in the game.
This is the week to give Snyder his first reps. It would be insane for him to be thrown out against PSU or OSU. I still can't believe he lost an entire game to come in for 1 play 2 weeks ago but it's water under the bridge, much like this season and the past 4 years.
