He'll get 15 shots/game and keep Roy from the NIT next year, but they won't pose any real threat.

I hope Calipari schedules the cheats next year so Hagans can assault Cole the way he did Coby White.
Rumor is the reason Hagans didn’t go through the draft process was because White had a restraining order against him, couldn’t be in the same building.

Cole Anthony going to UNC is why we should never worry about recruiting.. at some point, at our absolute lowest.. some recruits will pick us because it's automatic minutes at a big school.

I give ol' Roy a lot of credit for what he's done the last 5 years. UNC seemed to be suffering from a slow talent drain as UK and Duke came to dominate recruiting, but UNC hit a run of "really good for college, not so much for the NBA" talent that kept them at or near the top of the game.

But I have to think the talent drain is going to show next year. Ol' Roy has never thrived when having to replace huge chunks of a team, and he's losing his top 5 scorers from last year. Anthony will make them OK, but you look at that roster, and it's hard to see them as a top 10 threat.

Woods, Anthony, Robinson, Brooks, and Bacot with Manley, Huffman, and Black backing them up. Not a great team, but I'd say they are top 25. Kind of reminds me of a less athletic version of the team they had in 14/15 with Paige as the primary weapon.

No real surprise that he is going to UNC as many have had that called for many months. Looks like a ball hog each time I have seen him play on TV.

Do any of you think White or Little will return to UNC ?

They've been blown out in the Sweet 16 round the last two years with much, much more talent than they'll have next year -- not lost, which can happen. Blown out.

I think the air is out of the tires for Ol' Roy at nearly 69.
If white or little return to UNC then they'll be better than this past season.

But neither will. They're 1st round locks. White is projected lottery. Little has slid down in mocks, but nowhere close to dropping out of the 1st round, and besides, he's been chasing a payday since HS. He's not going to pass it up to play another year in college.

I really don’t get the draw of UNC. Roy holds freshmen back more than just about any other coach out there.

Maybe they all look forward to meeting Jordan and getting a new pair of Air Jordan's. I'm just wondering when that's going to wear off, It looks like its fading some.

You guys are too much. UNC is one of the Blue Blood programs very close to Kentucky in wins, etc. The cheating scandal is over. They should be on a huge probation but the NCAA already dealt with it and gave them a pass so it's over. We can continue to bring it up because it is so unfair but it is over.

Williams has achieved championships and good seasons, so the program and Williams will continue to attract top talent. Plus, as some others have pointed out, there are alumni players who perhaps help with their connections in the recruiting process. They can have as good as season as we may have at present.
Right now, unless Cal gets a few more top elite big man recruits or grad transfers, we are not going to be great either. Otherwise Richards is going to be our go to guy at center and that tells me everything.

I wonder if we can break the string of misses And score a top-five recruit in 2020?
Actually think we do this year with Mcdaniels although this is silly thing to worry about . You need elite recruits . Whether they are ranked in the 30's like Herro and SGA or in in the top 10 like Whitney and Maxey or in the top 5 doesn't matter.

And all this does is mean UNC will be a 8 seed or so as they have no good players back basically.

As expected.

I think he'll be really good for them, but I doubt they do anything big next year.

Just watch.......... Jordan will write the check to get White or Little back and then UNC will be a title contender again.
White is not returning. He and Anthony are both PGs. Little did very little. Reminds me of Johnson. Going pro off of hype rather than what they showed.

That scandal damaged their image from an educational viewpoint. I met a girl that had a UNC graduate shirt on and I couldn’t help but think about fake classes that UNC approved as meeting their standard.

It was impossible not to consider her a product of a diploma mill and she didn’t play sports. The first thought about UNC is fake classes, that’s the biggest event in their history.

US News and World Report college rankings: UNC-Chapel Hill #30, Kentucky #147. Doesn't seem to have hurt the school's image.

He seems like the kind of player that will shoot you out of a lot of games and cause turmoil from his selfish play. Won't hurt my feelings if that happens.

Yet UNC was splattered all over Bloomberg and other media outlets for condoning fraud classes and UK was not. Obviously those rankings are pageantry, people who form their own opinions likely have the same view that I did.

It was only damaged in the eyes of a few UK and possibly NC State fans. No one else knows a damn thing about it and wouldn't care if they did.

You’re wrong, they got a lot of bad publicity off that from respectable news outlets, many people who read Bloomberg came away with a downgraded view of UNC. Or maybe they read your post and favored that instead.

Do they have any transfers, because all I see returning are Woods, Robinson, Brooks, Manley, Black, Platek and Huffman. About 20 pts and 11 rebs combined. Even with Bacot and Anthony, that ain't winning squat.
