You asked what it means so I explained it. Not sure how anything in your post could be considered a joke.

That’s brilliant actually. Start a related thread so we can talk about it but not a direct game thread so as to avoid the curse. This isn’t a game thread. I started the thread in regards to Cole Anthony. I didn’t know UNC playing today. This is not meant to be a personal attack, just an informational thing.
That would be a 4 seed for North Carolina , lol.Umm they are soon to be 6-4 and haven’t been through ACC gauntlet yet. They very well could finish 17-14 range.
Is it a real injury or just an excuse to miss the season? I dont wish the kid harm, but I totally understand not wanting to risk your future playing for a team that's trash. Sit the season and prep for the draft. You've proved enough.
So far they are without Bacot, Anthony, Black and Manley (for the season). If Anthony and Bacot do not come back, they will not make the tournament.

My bad, I didn't know Bacot was back.

No way a dude is named Leaky Black.
Cole Anthony might want to take a look at what his usage will be on this UNC team, which is very weak outside of him, and decide just how important it is for him to play 3 more months for free.
Even WITH Anthony, they don't look like they have the pieces to contend, and if you're Anthony, what's the point? He proved to be worth a top5 pick if he never played another minute.
The draft this year could end up historically bad.Granted the NBA drafts on potential but I haven't really seen enough from him to use a top 5 pick. He is averaging 19 PPG but shooting 17 shots and 6 free throws per game to do it. He is only shooting 35% from the field and 65% from the free throw line. Ashton is averaging 5 less points but shoots 8 less shots and 1 less free throw per game while shooting 50% from the field and 88% from the free throw line and almost double the assist per game as Anthony 7.00 to 3.6.

We all know the NBA drafts mainly on potential now, but how many guys who go on to prove themselves worthy of top 5 picks didn't really produce, or were wildly inefficient, in college? Even someone like Jaren Jackson, who played limited minutes in college, did a lot of positive things with those minutes. And beyond that, even a lot of guys who are really productive in college don't translate to the pros.
Wiseman, Edwards, Anthony, Lamelo Ball, RJ Hampton, Nico Mannion, Jaden McDaniels- none of them seems like a cornerstone for a struggling franchise to me. If I'm an NBA GM, I trade out of the top 5 and reach for a Euro player with big upside, or settle for a guy with the potential to be a solid role player.
Edwards to Golden State would probably be solid, since he could be mentored by Curry and Thompson, and work into an established culture, but beyond that, I don't see a situation where any of the guys being projected near the top is going to turn a bad team around. Not even in 3 years. And the 2021 class looks waaaaaaaaaaay better to me.
Yeah, I caught that after I posted.Reading is fun.
