Perfect timing,...... with the help of all board Libs everywhere (stated and otherwise) there is absolutely no reason this thread can not get to at least 6 or 7 pages. It has been too long since we have had some late night reading material. This should work out perfectly. No excuses, off to a good start. Remember if it starts to slow before the stated objective you can always throw in a few “Cohen statements”, “what did he (Cohen) mean by that”, “obvious if true ......” or “hard to believe Trump.....”, and as a standby, “he may have lied in the past but ........”. I think you get the gist of it. Now get to work, been awhile since some of us have had some comic / light late night readings. Ps. ...... not necessary to state “trying to look at this objectively”, that is already assumed and believed. ...... almost forgot the “ if even half of what Cohen says is true and so on and so forth” can always be a good go to, and is perfectly acceptable.

I notice you once again failed to even recognize the other option and instead focus on Trump. If you were half as smart as you want to be you would heed advice.

We’ve had a pretty peaceful relationship with S. Korea through the years already.

I’m sure Kim will bend the knee.

Sure it was...that's why War was about to break out and quickly escalate into a full scale nuclear conflagration. In fact, there was so much Peace for the past 60 or so years since the Korean War, why you could feel the Love stretching across the DMZ.

YOU said it's been "peaceful" on the Korean Peninsula and we've been at Peace there with S. Korea for years did you not? S. Korea is our ally and has been living under threat of attack from the Communist/Socialist North since oh...roughly 1953? Matter-of-fact until recently a de-facto "state of war" existed between the two countries. (The North recently cancelled that BTW...wonder why?)

What peace were YOU referring to?

Disagree. If the time ever comes to impeach, this testimony and corroborating evidence is substantial for high crimes and misdemeanors.
Eh. I think we have wildly different expectations on today and how/why Trump gets impeached.

Wouldn't the SDNY's case against Cohen be enough for the House to impeach Trump? Wouldn't his (Cohen) allocution in federal court be the corroboration? I don't see how today does much. Maybe dumbs it down for the public (sigh).

Which is...? Are we back on the deepstate Clinton’s control the world thing again?
Its not a big secret who Lanny Davis has always worked for. You can try to deflect from the Clinton connection if that helps you feel better about yourself but it isnted anchored in reality.

We are at peace with S.Korea, and have been for a very long time.

Are you acting like it’s different today than it was in 2015?

Can you tell me the last time we've been in either a State of War or in armed conflict with one of our allies? (hint: you might have to go all the way back to 1945 and Tojo's Japan)

Personally I think there has been plenty to impeach Trump for quite sometime. But my opinion means zero. The GOP is doing everything they can to protect Trump and only way for that to change is present as much as they can to the American citizens all the crap Trump has done both illegally and not withholding his pledge to the constitution as President. The citizens will influence their Reps and senators if the case is strong enough between all the various investigations. This is an important investigation but just one piece of the puzzle.

I love how when Obama wants to open up economic relations with benign Cuba, it’s so freaking horrible. But when Trump wants to help build the almost nuclear DPRK economy to prop up a ruthless dictator, he’s some type of savior.

I was being a douche and pointing out you posted we were going to be “at peace with S.Korea” which I figured you meant to type N.Korea. So let’s just stop here Professor RhetoricalQuestion

I’m not sure why the DNC email leak being coordinated with the campaign isn’t more of a big deal. It’s the thing I was looking at since the beginning.

Whether they orchestrated the hack or not, when a campaign coordinates with that type of action (which knocked the opposition off message at critical times) it’s a big fvcking deal, imo.

Seems like what Cohen told SDNY or others and what they can verify independantly would carry a lot more weight than House hearings. This is made fot TV drama.

Like I said, I don't know what is lies and what is not. But he will be contradicting the dossier.
Maybe the trip to Prague was to discuss Trump Tower Moscow. When he says he never went to Prague, you got something. Not much though.

Let's see if I am getting this right:

"Don't believe Cohen, he's just lying to reduce his prison sentence. Don't trust him!"

"Trust Kim and his promises to denuclearize the Korean peninsula because Trump is the greatest deal maker in history"

About right?

I agree but without making a better case that is able to break through the GOP lies, deception and deflection, the reasonable individuals in Congress are stonewalled.

If Hillary were "on message" (let's say no leaks to knock her off of it) what was her message?

I actually went back and read thinking "where did I say we were at War with S. Korea? Boomer's an arrogant snob but he's not stupid''?

So after I read where you got that impression, I suppose it was worded poorly. I meant to say a "lasting peace for South Korea instead of with S. Korea. So I can see why your snooty smart *** thought I was talking about us negotiating with our ally instead of a potential nuclear threat who was promising to annihilate us. Anyone would have thought it was the same thing.

Language is sometimes imprecise. Maybe a little relativism was required to understand the intent of my statement. I'll consult your expertise on that next time I post.

Now that’s the spirit and exactly the type of post that can make this thread one of the all time best !!! ............ and the testimony is just getting started. Well done, look forward to more insight.

I don't trust him, I don't know what he's lying about, and what he's not.

If he lies again, he gets more jail time. If he tells the truth, he may get less.

Any rational and intelligent person should understand this.

If you don’t, you’re neither rational or intelligent.

Read where Cohen said that Trump told him to "show me a nation ran by a black man that isn't a sh!thole". Sounds a lot like what Airport said just the other day. [roll]
