Chizik?
8-5 and finishing 4th in the West is a bad season for Auburn. Then following it up with a 3-9 and 0-8 in SEC is a shittastic season with a bunch of turmoil equals fired.
Chizik?
You waited on a bad season to push the "I told you so" agenda. Bottom line is Cohen has shown us he can be successful and he can get us to Omaha and he can get us to the Championship game. He's been the only coach to get us that far. You don't fire coaches after 1 bad season that have gotten you to the highest stage.
Hell Florida made 3 straight World Series in a row from 2010-2012 and had a losing record in 2013. Lsu won the World Series in 2009 and didn't make post season in 2011. **** happens. We have lost 8 games after being tied or up after the 8th inning and 10 after the 7th inning. Our bullpen is ****. We win half those games and we aren't listening to lunatics like you. After next season though, you will crawl back up in your hole and wait for another bad season to blast Cohen and call for his job.
Did you or did you not continually reference "the new baseballs" over the last two days? If you can't take people calling you out for posting full retard, don't post full retard.Nice straw man. When in doubt -- just make up your own stuff and apply it to me.

I have zero doubt -- that you're a moron.
But I know that the drop-off from powerhouse to ********* cannot be blamed solely on new baseballs. Good lord you're dense
That's probably because you spend 80% of your posts harping on that one issue, then casually mention that there are other problems with this baseball program that have nothing at all to do with the new baseballs. You are hung up on a single one of about a dozen issues with this team I've discussed in the last two days.
To be fair to them, they haven't had much in the way of coaching or leadership. But even if they win a national title next year, they're still a big part of the reason (not THE reason) that we suck this year. Very little production through 2 years from what was a pretty hyped class.
threaded view. At least you include the quote you're replying to

Well, it's pretty much the whole first page of the message board. You've done a lot more excuse making for Cohen than you have blaming him for the situation we're in. When the fact is, it's ALL on him. Even not being ready for the new baseballs. Somehow all the other coaches seem to have gotten their teams ready for it.
Maybe the problem isn't with the rest of this messageboard. Maybe the problem is with you. You keep using the words "straw man," but I'm not entirely sure you actually know what that means or how to use it in a sentence properly. It's not a straw man if I'm repeating what you've said ad nauseum. You are hung up on a single one of about a dozen issues with this team I've discussed in the last two days. And a position that was spelled out for you with an "obviously it is not the only problem here" two whole posts ago in this very thread. Yet I'm the dense one!1!!!1 That dumbass engie thinks the balls are our only problem!!1!1! Whatever you've got to tell yourself to simplify it to a straw man level you can understand.

The last thing I wanted was Raffo. Cohen came in with some fire and passion. What we all wanted after Polk treated the players like boys. Even came in and ran some of them off that weren't fully committed to the team and it's direction. It's what we all wanted to see after Polk showed zero emotion in his latter years and claimed "that's baseball" for every downturn we had. 8 seasons is plenty to evaluate a body of work. We are near the bottom of every offensive category year in and year out. Starting pitching? Name me 3 quality SEC starters in Cohen's tenure not named Stratton. Tough one isn't it? Look at our style of play. Our base running is poor at best. And not just this year, it's a trend each year. We've recruited little to no power hitting. We consistently have issues putting players on the field that can hit it to the gaps. Each year, settling on a lineup seems like Chinese musical chairs. And player development is lacking. Seems to be a trend that seniors don't turn out to be the players we thought they'd turn out to be. And 87-119 speaks for itself. You're right. **** happens. But we've had a hell of a lot of **** happening. And I'll be here next season and face any music I have to if a miracle happens and Cohen turns this around. Hell, I hope he does. I just want to win, period.

We could have won two in Oxfart with any kind of breaks so I don't see the doom and gloom.
The doom and gloom comes from the fact that we NEVER seem to get the breaks that other teams do. What is "home cooking" inside DNF? It doesn't exist even on our own field. Has Cohen pissed off every official to the point that we never get the calls?
We have lost a **** ton of games in which we were one out away or one hit away from pulling it out
so make the bet you PY
My suprise was that Cohen has talked about the ball changes for the prior two seasons. He said the team was ready and prepared and he was drafting players that were ready. He wasnt prepared and dont know if he has the right guys coming in. I do wish people would lay off Rea. He's been a good player for us.
