He's from "Wydeville" (my attempt to write the way Whiteville is pronounced in Columbus County) I think. I didn't know he was coaching.
i thought he was from Sawmills. Wasn’t he high school teammates with Jimmy Messer (and maybe even MadBum)
The Whiteville guy was Robbie Penny. He played 1 year at UNC, then transferred to Pitt CC and was drafted by the Royals.
