It's tough that this probably eliminates us from the Duren sweepstakes, but that's okay.

I just watched his last 100 FGAs from this past season at Illinois and whoa boy, he is even better than I remembered him being.

Wrap him up and let's go win #9.

Just re-watched the last 100 FGAs from Oscar as a Freshman at WVU....a little less impressed, but he'll be overwhelming for most bigs at the 4 spot. He will still need to play some minutes at the 5 though for sure, along with Collins, so it'll be tough to get everyone the minutes they need, but Cal will figure it out.

Back to Illinois is my guess. Their insiders seem pretty confident, but they also thought that Chin and Antigua were staying too.

Then why put his name in the portal at all?

99.9% of guys who enter the portal end up leaving, just 0.1% return to their original school.

And Illinois lost ALL 3 of their assistants (the ones who spend the most time with the players), and 2 of those 3 are in Lexington.

The odds are overwhelmingly in our favor.

Don't know, but they seem confident. Maybe he just wanted to keep all of his options open. A few guys have entered the portal but ultimately decided to stay at their current school.

Yeah their "insiders" have been wrong about pretty much every single thing this offseason, so if they're saying he is staying at Illinois, I feel even better about our chances.

LOL. Here's what you said in another thread this weekend about Cockburn:
"Stays in draft. It's gonna suck when we miss out on both Kofi and Duren..."

Just keep hoping the Cats fail. Real Kentucky fans are counting on your track record.

If Cal runs a double post with this team you should run him out of town. Good lord if you get Kofi and surround him with those shooters it’s on. I suspect he will run the double post though.

Wow.. I figured some team was gonna grab him no later than the 40s.. some drafts figured he could be in the 1st round, just for his size.

Cal will run multiple sets this year regardless of Kofi committing here. So many possibilities.
