USC and Clemson have paid us in the past to get "our asses kicked" but the Herd was a poor guest and refused to comply!

Amazing how giddy the Heriots get when they get a $1.4MM paycheck for a one and done with a P5 team................. and what provides the comedy is that while they come here thumping their chests about their accomplishment, they fail to realize that WVU gets over 3 millions dollars EVERY TIME WE PLAY !!!! They really need to step away from those fun house mirrors, the ones that make them look bigger than they are.

Oh tirepunk........you have failed to recognize that Marshall has played major teams 45 times in the hundred years plus that they have fielded a football team..........if only this, and if not for that, and if all their would have, should have, and could haves would have worked in their favor maybe they would not have lost 38 of those games.

Yea I hear ya buzzard, but 2 WHOLE TIMES!!!!! Color me impressed. I am sure both USC & Clemmy were in an upswings and were crushing other teams but ole' Marshal came to town and put those teams in their place.

Marshall pretty much has mastered finding "walk overs" .......ever wonder why your team wins 10 or 11 games every year and your strength of schedule consistantly ranks among the worst in Div. 1 ???

Like I mentioned earlier, there is a reason why you win 10 and 11 games every year and no one takes it seriously. It's called strength of schedule, and Marshall consistently ranks near the bottom in that regard - back to back to back and soon be back.

Well I am using the RPI rankings from last year and saying that teams ranked outside of the top 100 are sucky teams. This year we play two teams outside of the top 100 like last year. MVU played 8 teams last year outside the top 100. It is not complicated. Their is a reason why MVU has one of the worst schedules year and year out. You play in a horrible conference.

Mizzou was tragically bad on one side of the ball last season, the same can be said of Texas Tech. The next time the Red Raiders force a punt will be their first stop in two years. Texas and ISU were bad on both sides of the ball. KSU also badly flawed....but that was last season maybe they'll all be much better this year including Delaware State.

I find it hard to believe that you are as dense as you let on in your post. Texas Tech was rated higher in most computer polls than MVU last year. I did not include UConn, Southern Mississippi, and Middle Tenn. State because like Texas and TTU they were ranked inside the top 100.

Do you even realize that at least 9, maybe 10 of the teams on the 2016 slate for the Herd could be considered "sucky" ? That's assuming that Louisville and Pitt have decent seasons. Other than that it's the same ole same ole sucky schedule that consistently puts your team near the bottom of all Div. 1 teams in terms of strength of schedule.
