Does anyone know where I can get a sound clip of this? I want to blast it for the neighborhood every time Carolina scores a touchdown this season. Thanks.

Akin to UT blasting Rocky Top at Lindsey Nelson ever time the Viles score a run? And they scored a lot that year they won the CWS.

Or NC State's annoying wolf howl.
I've never heard (of) the wolf howl. Maybe if we'd schedule regular season games in baseball vs the Wolfpack instead of just the occasional post-season meeting, I would have heard of this.

During football games. I've never attended one of their basketball games. I should add that I'm recalling games we played at their stadium prior to joining the SEC. 😁

I wouldn’t mind seeing some NC State matchups. I’d like the see GT as well. I’ve actually been wanting Miami to come to Williams Brice for a while but I get the reasoning behind why that went down.

My house is a 20-minute drive from Russ Chandler Stadium. How about scheduling a midweek game in Atlanta with the Jackets on the way to/from say Auburn or Tuscaloosa over spring break? Or maybe a neutral site game in North Augusta similar to what we do with UnCarolina in Charlotte? Or the same with Tulane to/from Baton Rouge? Or Stetson when we visit Gainesville (they have a nice stadium in DeLand)? The Hatters can return the visit during the same or during a subsequent season by stopping off in Columbia en route to/from Charlotte to play ASUN conference foe Queens (yeah, that Queens). Tulane could do a return stopover in Columbia when facing American foes UNC-Charlotte or East Carolina. We could do something similar with American member Rice when we play at Austin or College Station and the Owls travel to Charlotte or Greenville (NC).

I'm just tired of seeing the same old area non-conference midweek foes year after year, and wouldn't mind seeing 1 or 2 of the aforementioned schools on the schedule each baseball season.

UGA and Clemson both play an early season game in North Augusta against a non conference opponent. In fact, UGA played Clemson in that game a few years ago. The place was packed and it was a great game and atmosphere. I think Clemson played Ga. Southern this year, again, a big crowd.

We played Charleston Southen at SRP Park one year under Kingston.

Back in the 1970's I believe we played Ga Southern a couple of times in Allendale (on the USC-Salkehatchie campus) as a neutral site game. That is so hard to imagine today.

And of course, there's an annual home-and-home one game in each team's park each season between UGA and Clemron (not happening in 2026), USC and The Citadel, USC and Wofford, and Auburn and Georgia Tech.

I was watching the weekly program Wednesday night on an Atlanta TV station (WANF) on Georgia Tech baseball. Jackets are hot, with a 31-5 record, riding a 14-game winning streak, and sweeping F$U this past weekend. Will try to get to a game at Russ Chandler this season. Not the year for USC to br playing the Jackets.

Yeah, tech has been a traditionally strong baseball program for some time now.

It would be nice to see better annual home and home out of conference games. Citadel and Wofford are pretty weak. I'd like to see UNC, NCSt or even Georgia Southern take their places. The games would be much more compelling.

Their first game in that stadium was against us, and Paul Dietzel's team actually won it. Lou Holtz's first game as our coach was there. We sat in a deluge. It never stopped raining - a portent for the entire year. I remember the howl.

I don't want us to completly eliminate schools such as the Citadel and Wofford from our schedules going forward, but I would like to see additional/different faces, such as NCSU, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, Coastal, Wake Forest, Dook, etc. in addition to the Bulldogs and Terriers.

Also go out to Texas and participate in one of those round-robbin weekends on occasion.

You must be referring to the 1-9 campaign in 1966?
