I will say this, North side certainly isn't scared to play anyone. They have New Hanover, Clinton, Wallace, and southern Nash all in a row. They will definitely be battle-tested by conference time.

I also think this could be the tightest this conference has been since it went to 6 teams. Havelock is always loaded, but at some point all these coaches changes have got to affect them. Jacksonville lost a lot of guys, but have plenty of athletes coming up. Northside will also be athletic. West Carteret always gives us problems, seem to always be well coached. The Vikings and the Pirates will battle it out for fifth.
