We aren’t in the season, so there aren’t any games to play and they have to do press conferences. So if you don’t want to hear what they have to say don’t listen.
The same people clamoring for the coaches to shut up would be biotching that the coaches are too quiet if they didn't speak. It just doesn't matter.
I would agree with the other sentiments in the OP though.
I have no idea what they said or what their philosophy on things were that you are referring to. And I try to keep up on what they do say because I like to hear.
The point being, a person has to make an effort to hear what they are saying. So why would you make an effort to hear what they are saying, only to say you don't want to hear what they say?
Kinda feels like "You shut your mouth when you're talking to me".
Because they have done nothing but produce losing seasons and losing attitudes.
Which it seems you are ok with.
Prove it on the field or get a pink slip.
We cant wait to show you are a decent coach which would have shown in season one.

What I think is silly is listening to something and saying you don't want to hear it.

Agreed. The degree to which some take the struggles of the program as a personal affront is quite something. No one is putting a gun to their head to read, watch or listen to Husker based news, watch games or be on this message board. Don’t like the vibe, step away.
I agree they need to win this year or be gone. But I don’t understand your April shut up and play rant, at all.

I enjoy listening to what they say. However I would rather them say "We can sit here and tell you all kinds of great stuff about the direction of the program behind the scenes. We as coaches see the things that are improving in each of our players and we see how we lost so many 1 score games that could have gone the other way for us. But the win loss column is where it counts. Until that gets better we dont blame you for questioning the direction of the program. We know our players are working hard and improving in the weight room and on the practice field. We are working hard to flip those numbers in the win loss column around and to get the confidence of our fans back."

Its as simple as that...well said headcard. I do agree though, it’s time to win games. No doubt but they also have to do press conferences and the media asks questions. It is what it is. You don’t want to hear it, then don’t listen. It’s truly that easy?

Might as well fire the mid major staff now then. No doubt the fraud is going to face plant again. Unfortunately even with another losing season we are likely stuck with Frost. Can’t wait for another year of excuses.

I think I understand what you mean. We all know it's the offseason, you're hoping to hear something different from the headcoach, and it's the same old bs coach speak we heard the prior 3 years. It can make a person wonder if this asshat is even trying to improve. We're reading the tea leaves, looking for something different in the approach or any kind of nugget that things will be different, and it just isn't there.. its the same old stuff from the guy, and yeah it kind of irks me too.
I'll be happy if Moos checks out, but that probably just means that Davison becomes the AD, and who knows if he would fire his buddy either.
Scott has it setup so he is beyond reproach..
