Rumor was that DL coach Hank Hughes lived in the dorms while he coached at NU.
How that was not turned into a sitcom I will never know. Imagine you show up, 18 year old freshmen and your roommate is the 55 year old DL coach for the Huskers...

The awkwardness when the freshmen asks him to buy some beer...or when either has a girl over.

Not sure I’m wild about the idea. I get the idea from a team building standpoint but there has to be a few guys who are married. I think there’s a player or two with kids.

I swear at UNL if you saw a hottie in the dorms...you only saw her once, never again.

And also, on campus, hot girls only had to take class in August, September and October...then you never saw them in class or on campus again until March. It was amazing.
