Sorry to interrupt this cat fight, but I assume everyone saw the cardboard cutout of Coach at the Wichita game? That was a nice gesture.
I find it funny that ‘Coach’ is a more revered figure than our actual all time winning-est coach. Dougie Fresh.Sorry to interrupt this cat fight, but I assume everyone saw the cardboard cutout of Coach at the Wichita game? That was a nice gesture.
Dougie is just a footnote in Coaches career as a #1 fan.I find it funny that ‘Coach’ is a more revered figure than our actual all time winning-est coach. Dougie Fresh.
If Doug had gone to an NCAA tournament or two, and not beat his players at his next school he’d probably been in the athletics hall of fame. Too bad he was an A-hole.Dougie is just a footnote in Coaches career as a #1 fan.

Eulogy for Coach
Only one way to find out, son.How much do we think the University would want for that???
He was mentally disabled. I don't see worrying about the mental state of someone who is mentally handicapped, as an issue in recognizing him as a loved person in the history of TU ball.Have not read this thread. I was often worried about Coach’s emotional state.
I was thrilled by his support for TU. Recognizing that he may have had emotional issues, I think TU should carefully ponder how to honor such a great friend. I hope we don’t need to address whatever emotional issues he may have had to overcome. RIP Coach I cheered with you for years .
I was pleased to see his card supporter in
the end zone tonight.
