This thread is to show appreciation to Coach Tom Crean and the job he is doing as the Indiana Men’s Basketball Coach. Coach, don’t listen to the negative venom those knuckle dragging Neanderthals in Indiana are saying about you. A lot of us think your doing a fantastic job cleaning out that cesspool and bringing the IU basketball program back to its full glory! So Tom, don’t stop being you! Grab that IU flag and charge that hill! You can do it!

In all reality, some IU insiders on Reddit think Crean is done. This isn't all that bad however, because they're saying that if the boosters can't buy Stevens, they'll go after Alford. And there's no chance they get Stevens.

I'd be willing to put money on it,that Steve Alford does not want the IU job,be a demotion from UCLA to Bloomington.

Thing is, UCLA won't keep Alford for much longer unless he makes a run, AND he played at IU. I wouldn't put it beyond him to go to Bloomington.

If Crean gets fired we must pray Alford lands at IU. He absolutely sucks.

The boosters aren't, obviously.

Of course, they will go after Stevens first, but he's staying at Boston for a while.

They might go after Marshall, but I think he might be waiting for Ol' Roy to retire.

I really, really, really hope those rumors are true though.

If they hire Alford and he stinks it up, there will be a fan revolt that would make our AD blush.

What I love about Tom Crean

1) the faces he makes

2) setting up shrines to honor a MidSeason win

3) putting said win on popcorn boxes and phone books

4) Continuously missing the ncaa tournament and when you make it, you flame out

5) French kissing your kid (scratch that, that's gross)

6) showing each game his inept you are as a coach

Besides the fan dislike of Alford,I believe I've read somewhere around the time Alford went to New Mexico that he would never be interested in the IU job,must be some bad blood there somewhere.

Crean rules.

He keeps IU from being good enough to win a title, but they're not bad enough to fire him.

Lotta irony in that shot...IU fans love to bring up the Wat Shot constantly. But that shot has given UK fans & IU at least two extra years of Tommy.
