They had 200 yds rushing on 40 attempts. We’re improved and fought hard, but they still had 5 yds per carry.
Im not sure if many of you watched the game... most of their offense came after the pick 6...up until then RU was holding their own up there. If you watched that game and understand football, the defense is legit. You need to score and move the ball to help them out ..they got worn down and at that point the blowout was on..

You realize it was basically 7-7 until the 2nd half? Because they weren't "marching up and down the field" they didn't start doing that until after the pick 6 which took away the defenses motivation... understand the psychology of a player..
They were gashing us before, and after the pick 6. Defenses who are capable of getting the job done, don't quit over a 3rd quarter interception

They dominated time of possession. Defenses wear down. It's exactly what we try to do to opposing defenses.

Michigan had the ball 7 times. They went 3 and out to start, and then drove down field into scoring position on everyone of their next 6 drives. Argue all you want if the D played well, it wasn't good enough.

I’m pretty sure all of us watched the game and without scarlet colored glasses. Haha. Michigan went 8/13 on 3rd down, 2/2 on 4th, rushed and threw for 200+. No one is saying the defense lost us the game. They played hard and kept us in it, but they didn’t dominate the first 3 quarters. They gave up points on last drive of first half and first 2 drives of second half.

This...Rutgers D wasnt able to stop them. Michigan used huge chunks of possession including 8 minutes for a fg...Rutgers couldnt answer on its next drive

Also Michigan punished RU on that last drive before half

Everytime on 3rd and long they needed something they got it. I dont think our D was that good. Yes they made Michigan work to score but never got the feeling Michigan was bothered by our D

Meanwhile RU offense went 59 minutes without a point. Offense simply not playing to score

Because the offense did not put them under pressure.. that's my whole point, you have to force mcarthy into being uncomfortable. He wasn't under any pressure to throw the ball so their offensive coordinator could scheme up some plays to keep the d on their heels and not flying to the ball...you have to score..
