K will finish the season at 900 wins. Something tells me he might get the record in November of next year.

Assuming this is not an April Fools' prank, coach K now has 904 wins and tied the record at 902 vs. UNC.

However, see last two lines of the article ":We could not be happier. Congratulations, Coach!

I know it is anticlimactic, but the win against Michigan State was also his 830th win at Duke, which ties him for 4th place (with Jim Phelan) on the list of most wins at a single school. With a win against Davidson Coach K will move ahead of Phelan for #4 on that list.

Surely not the most important victory in Duke basketball history, but it ranks highly. Kudos to Coach K and the coaching staff for believing in the boys. And thank the Good Lord for Rivers deciding to come to Duke!

Win #948 over Boston College, 62-61. A game that saw Duke as flat as I have seen them in a while. Had just enough to hang on and God bless the ref who swallowed his whistle on that last play. Bring on the Heels!

Coach K keeps adding to his stats. He just tied Adolph Rupp (again), this time for the most wins at a single school with 876 wins at Duke. He is now third on the list behind Dean (temporarily) at 879 and Jim Boeheim at 909.

Win #952, 79-76 over Miami. Good pay back for the Devils. Coach K still has more class in his pinky finger than Roy has in his whole body!

Coach K captures win #953 with 85-57 victory over Virginia Tech on Senior Night. The three seniors went out in style as Curry scored 20, Kelly put in 18 and Plumlee added 14.
