I also still don’t know who I’d want us to hire. I feel like Oats and Sean Miller would be at the top of the list of realistic candidates

At 64 years old and burnt out....definitely.

How much money is enough?

Cal is trading days for dollars right now.

One of those things is limited. The other one Cal has more than he or his family will ever need in their lifetimes.

Just depends on which of those things Cal values more....his time left on this earth....or his money.

I know what I would do....
But you’re not Cal…..put more ego behind your thought process. Take away the care of the program.

Now what’s your answer?

I really dread next season more than any KY basketball season in my lifetime.
All because CCC will be back.
I dread it because it’s do or die for Cal. Now before that gets taken the wrong way. This is his last chance to save any kind of face with the fan base. If he stops being an *** and wins something he can depart well. If he can’t? Well. It’s going to be a looooong ugly year with lists of ugly things said on both sides.

Do or die was last year after going 9-16 the year before. So now we have a 9-16 season, 1st round loss , and a 2nd round loss. For him to save face it’s already too late he had that chance last year and screwed it all up. I’m done with the guy he used up all his chances!

If UK hire as Miller I’d walk from support in a heart beat. Dude was literally under FBI investigation. We are UK. We do not have to sell our souls to win.

226 votes with 2/3s not happy. If KSR had any balls, they would do a poll and let the world see.

Not happy but can accept him for one more year, mainly because we already know there’s a 0% chance he’s not here next year so there’s no point to consider that, but also because even if he was fired it would be a rebuilding year anyways regardless of who was hired. I’m fine with pushing it back one more year to see if we can make one last run before we part ways
What do you expect to see out of him in one more year than what you have already seen? If the results are better, it won't be because of Cal. It will be all about the players.

That’s really my point. I want him here solely because I want those players here haha to see what they can do, but after next year I’d be happy with a split

Oh Boy, Calipari is still blowing sunshine up the butt of a handful of people. Amazing.

Hopefully you have a good year watching and following. No disrespect intended. I’m way past done. Everyone is different

It’s not that I’m not done, it’s just that we all know Cal will 100% be the coach of the team next year and I’m still gonna support the players even if I don’t like the coach. I like UK basketball too much to just not watch/follow the season no matter what we look like (still sat through the misery of watching every game during Billy G’s tenure) but I respect it if that’s your plan

With Cal it is always one more year!! Those kids coming right out of high school won't be ready to go up against teams with 4 and 5-year seniors on them. Their bodies just won't be ready. Also, if you notice the one thing about Cal's teams, the players are much better early before Cal has enough time to make them feel like 2 and 3-star athletes.

I think this is the first time it's truly do or die though. If we don't get it done next year he gone

I'm not happy with the way things have been with Cal the last few years. One more year and if he can't turn it around, it's time to go. My only worry is that there aren't many viable options out there that are worthy to sit the Bg Blue Throne.

Oh yes.
Just look at K State. They hired an assistant coach from Baylor who started with 2 scholarship players on the roster.

It will take YEARS for K State to match our HOF coach and his roster of 5 star NBA wannabes.

Maybe we should focus on actually hiring someone who knows and can coach the game of basketball who can also relate to his players and not have every official in the country out to stick it to him because of his sideline antics.

Nah. We better keep Cal. UK can't do better than what he has brought the past 5 years......and counting.

I know that there are many on this board that only know UK/Calipari BB, but UKBB won't die after Calipari. In fact, it will get better. It can't dip much lower under this latest version of His Highness' team but UKBB will rise from the ashes. It always does.

Yep. Better times ahead. And sooner than most think. We are Uk. This dude isn’t sinking us. Far from it.

Polls?
There is only 1 poll, not multiple polls.
Post like this is why everyone laughs at you on here.
Is that the best you got!! You must be a kid. That sounds like something that a 5 year old would say. Lol
