If Don Lemon was making widgets on an assembly line......his sexual orientation would most likely NOT be a factor in how he does his job. As a member of the media with a national audience....it certainly does.

Ever heard of Rachel Maddow? I heard that she's gay too. Actually I didn't know that about DL until you started posting about it. Rachel is a very popular journalist. In August, her show was not just tops in cable news but was the top rated program in all of cable programming. I'm sure that you have a dim view of her journalistic skills as well.
My understanding is that it was brought to the fore by the ‘purest of typure’ Mr. Ted Kennedy. Anyone who can read (even just a little) an has the deductive ability of a 10 year old KNOWS this amendment is being totally mis-applied. Read it! Does NOT apply to visitors, illegal aliens, those employed here from other Countries, and anyone else who is not under the complete juristiction of the USA. Period. End of discussion!
