hope they're out there fighting like hell & we see some good news in the next couple weeks. Lord knows we need it.

That needs to be the theme for next season, not just the off-season. Teach this team how to close out opponents, and you'll see a West Division contender.

PJF has "Row the Boat." The 1994 Huskers had "Unfinished Business."

The 2020 Huskers need to be about "Closing Time."

Put a minute on the scoreboard at the end of each practice and expect the best work you've seen all day. No slipping, no sliding, no balls on the turf, no penalties, no mistakes.

I don't think closing games is really the problem. The problem is playing close with teams who have no business competing with us.

With respect, every team on the schedule had business competing with us. We were that bad. Need to look in the mirror and get better rather than trying to meet unrealistic expectations at this point.
