Have no idea how this will turn out, and, of course, the recruiting experts on every site don't appear to give us any chance at all; (not one pick for RU anywhere I've seen yet).

But if OC doesn't choose RU, for whatever reason, (or perhaps I should possibly say rea$on$), then there's not a damn thing more that could have been done other than Rutgers taking a turn down bank vault road, which personally I hope we never do to get a player. -And tonight's convincing win over a top 10 team is simply the icing on the cake in terms of the Knights stating their case for landing Cliff.

So whichever way this ends up going, whether we get CO or not, I'm completely at peace with it. And if we don't get him, well, then all I have to say is...NEXT!

Our own mods are about to crystal ball him to ASU. It seems like it’s been a done deal for months. Not even sure why he’s dragging it out by dropping a Top 3

Yeah, I don’t get it either. Especially after returning from ASU and tweeting that he’s not committed.

This will come down to his handler. I do feel he feels at home at RU. Attended so many home games, standing ovations, the recent OV and our support at his HS from staff, players and fans.

Kid wants to go to RU. Sucks that his handler may win out and kid can’t make a decision on his own . Would be a perfect fit for him and us here , but college basketball is shady where kids don’t have a say in where they go

Why the hell would someone want to go to ASU? Without plenty of "benefits".

Because his guardians or handlers friend is there or something . He’s also cliffs trainer I think . If it wasn’t for him we’d have him locked up

Arizona State, Auburn and Rutgers.

Rich-

A Wisconsin fan friend of mine says he read in a hoops chat room that Hurley recently hired a guy who is Omaruyi’s guardian’s best friend, who also coached him in the past. Can you please see if there is any truth to that. If so, RU is bridesmaid again. Hard to compete with such smarminess.

based on the time of the tweet RU was up around 18 at the time. I am guessing Cliff was watching the game or maybe even at the game.

I think Rutgers has a shot but it may be a wait and see if we can make the tourney and win a game in the tourney vs what AZ St does. Auburn is a sleeper too as they are 15 in the country and having a great season.
