Cliff had a good game. Cam cannot hit outside shots. To his credit he did other things. Caleb could not cover Murray

Cliff had a great game - lots o blocks and when he went out Iowa made their runs. Made shots and hit free throws. Pick someone else like Caleb who has been great in the past but looks seriously hurt and does not pass the ball

Opponents know that limiting Spencer 3 point shots will usually result in wins.Caleb was in foul trouble most of the game which was a contributing factor in so many open Iowa 3 point shots.Cliff was stifled most times he touched the basletball resulting in turnovers. The team had 18 turnovers which is unacceptible.

Cliff's non-dunking/tip in inside game is horrific. He would average 20 points a game if he cleaned up his offense. How many times a game does he airball or alligator arm hook shots? I just want him to miss long instead short if anything, at least give it a chance.

He can’t pass out of a double he has no low post moves at all if he had any of that he would be averaging over 20 points a game

I feared we would lose in blowout. Thankfully Dre bailed us out.
They have multiple scoring threats and I think Fran is a great coach who makes Pike look so passive. I'm sure Fran is not happy that we were one point out at one point. Iowa looked pretty unbeatable today and they sure were getting some home cooking from the refs the second half.

The amount of unforced turnovers in this game is just stunning. Can’t remember the last time I saw anything like this.

This is too funny. We lost because our D sucked today. Big part of that is Paul.
This game yes, but typically when Iowa loses it's because the opposing team managed to outscore even them rather than locking them down on defense. MSU was an exception.

Nothing today
Cliff was great with help defense, I do not know why other Rutgers defenders kept fouling their man after Cliff came over. None of those shots got by Cliff, but they fouled their man while Cliff was batting the shots away. Caleb struggled on O, but he played good D. I will give Cam did not play great. His best asset the last couple of games is as a decoy because his guy does not leave him for help. The O needs to use that more IMO. Drive on the side were Cam is setting up around the arc.

Cliff was a mixed bag today despite the good offensive numbers. His turnovers were brutal when they happened. He played better in the 2nd but damage was done in the first half. Thats where we need Cliff to show uo and he didnt. In the 2nd half Cliffs d was very effective unfortunately his teammates were not boxing out and that led to some 2nd chance opportunities where Iowa made us pay or we fouled and sent them to the line

Cam was AWOL for most of the game and then literally was awol as Pike benched him for significant minutes of crunch time

Caleb was a mess on defense and then getting that third foul right after his 2nd is on him alone..then coming back in and fouling...just a bad game.

how many TOs did Cliff have in the 1st half vs the rest of the team? Hyatt doesn’t box out.

Cliff had 2 turnovers in the first 5 minutes, one in the opening possession...he finished with 4 of RUs 13 or was it only 10 in the first half.

RU had 18 TOs. He tied our PG for TOs. Cliff got doubled teamed that caused the TOs. Our PG just threw it away.

Nothing today
Terrible take on Cliff. He had 15/8 and 3 blocks and we should have gone to him much more, as he was playing very well on O (6-9). Yes, his 4 TOs sucked, but that's way better than "nothing."

And Cam/Caleb both had subpar games, but again, not "nothing."

When you give up 90+ points on D I'm guessing that you can call it a team disaster. No need to point out individuals. Easier to say who played well.

I listed open 3's before the refs. Trolling fail. If you think the reffing was good you aren't qualified to talk basketball
I know you did. I just didn't think it was as impactful as the 3's. Take away a few 3's and the game is totally different.

Iowa made shots. We forced them to o beat us on the perimeter as we do every game and they did it. Again. Bottom line.
Stop blaming individual players. They have a ton of good shooters and several were “on” yesterday. Against Sparty they were chucking up bricks. Watch only the last Iowa possession and observe where they missed 2 wide open 3s to win the game. It wasn’t that Michigan State defended the perimeter so much better than us.

Defense looked great at the beginning. Then Iowa nailed 9 first half threes. We had to adjust our normal defense which opened things up for them inside.

It is what it is. Move on.
