That game in 20 was incredible. 13-12 I believe. And you guys had the ball and driving towards the end and we got a stop. I believe we would have went on to beat Salisbury and win a state title that year had our QB not gotten hurt in that game.

I was at this game. Phenomenal atmosphere. Anthony Hillman was a monster! Went the next week to see them beat Concord before losing to Carver in the State Title.
My work had me out in Jacksonville, NC today and these good old boys out here seem to think they can get two of their schools out of the East this year. Northside in 5A and Jacksonville in 6A.

Jacksonville is legit. They have a great shot to get there.
When I was there you guys had an all world running back Witherspoon I believe who was giving everyone the business that year. I believe Shelby won but you guys were very competitive and confident. Great atmosphere. I loved when Hibriten came down the steps before the game.
