Lake Wylie paying pretty good, heard he received around a 10k pay bump just being an assistant. Alot of talk in Rutherford County about merging Chase and East.
Wouldn’t hurt. East looked in bad shape back when I was in high school. Use that money to spruce Chase up a little and keep enrollment decent sized.
East was scheduled to come down to KM yesterday for a four team 7 on 7. ER didn’t make it due to the coach leaving. We did get to see one of your favorites in Coach Sosabee at the 7 on 7.

I remember it too. I was a Junior at Burns that year and I even remember thinking how dumb that was. lol Then came the Beam Bomb dropping and that went over just great. Everyone at Shelby loved it.
Call me crazy but combining both ER and Chase could create one hell of a team in the future. Think about how East used to be historically and then the athletes Chase has had over the years. They will have size and athletes with both together. I can see a big benefit with athletics once it's all sorted out.

I think Crest punted 3-4 times from the 1 in that game. Rare highlight from that disaster of a start.
Yeah our qb is going to be a good one. Hate to put too much pressure on a young kid but the skill set and poise jumps out at you. Very smart, very respectful, and very coachable. We had a big crowd show up for a 9am 7v7 and many of those folks left buzzing. Our receiver group is really talented also.
It is up in the air on who will start. Bralley will be special for us for sure but the coaches will put whoever is ready out there. Getting Boki back this year really helps our depth. Our receivers and secondary will be solid if they work hard and stay healthy.
Cleveland County is loaded this year. All 4 schools will be hell come playoff time. Those first two weeks of the year and the last week of the regular season will be all out war.
