Speaking of transfers I just read on the face space that big 99 from Hunt transferred to Clayton.. Found it odd as wasnt Hunt an odds on to make it back to title from the eastern bracket?
Was this the guy with 30 sacks and 170 tackles or something crazy like that?
Clayton made a deep playoff run and has built a really good program. Really good facilities. #99 definitely was a problem in the middle of that Hunt D-line. It will be interesting to see how many more players that Hunt loses in the off season.
Hunt might have made it back but they weren’t winning. 99 is a monster no doubt. The QB was a fantastic athlete and DB but he couldn’t throw the ball. Or didn’t.
That’s what they had. I still don’t understand the hoopla. Outside of Concord they were the worst team we played in the playoffs.

Local (kinda news) Coach Russ at East Rutherford has in fact stepped down and taking assistant job down at Lake Wylie.... He was doing some good things at East.... Good luck to him and his big headed Dad ..... Just kidding TR,,,,,

The Shelby boys on here are great guys. Except for 2nd to None. I mean he may be a great guy but I just know I couldn’t stand to be around him long enough to find out. 5 minutes tops and one of us would be driving an ice pick in their ear.
I can only hope 87Raider and Seadog don't magically reappear. What great times these boards were with the interchanges then.
It was nuts a few years. I don't post much but, I enjoyed when seadog and Crest guys went back and forth. Some crazy stuff!

We started yesterday. We definitely look the part this year. Our kids have really hit the weight room this past year. This is the biggest and deepest we have been in a few years. We did lose the other kid I referenced earlier to Crest. A bunch of different sensitive and non sensitive circumstances involved in this particular transfer. We believe this will be a breakout year for him. I will cheer for this kid no matter where he plays. Beyond that we had a great off season.
