Yes it is. You guys are going to get a good one from KM. I expect him to have a breakout season. I was surprised and not surprised. He fits a need at Crest which I hate..I hear the portal is opening up at Crest.
Ain’t NOBODY sitting on their HANDS!!
The Crest defense is gonna be NASTY. OLD SCHOOL!
Happening all over bro.Yes it is. You guys are going to get a good one from KM. I expect him to have a breakout season. I was surprised and not surprised. He fits a need at Crest which I hate..
Yep some move make sense and some don’t. I hate to lose this kid but I understand what his dad is thinking. He and his younger brother both fill needs at Crest football and the younger brother is an excellent baseball player on top of that. The older brother put in a lot of work in the offseason, a had growth spurt, and get to play the position he wants to play in college. He is going to be an absolute stud on defense for Crest.Happening all over bro.
crazy times.
I know you got a few Burns Eagles coming over but damn you didn't have to rub it in on the ring. Geez!I forgot one!!!!!!

Never dude. Burns has one. They’re in the club.I know you got a few Burns Eagles coming over but damn you didn't have to rub it in on the ring. Geez!
Brian Clemmons was a hard running dude in his days..Chargers fans often forget about him when we talk about the RB positionBack when the series featured a bunch of 14-7 type games. Crest got Brian Clemmons back the next week at RB and the offense really took off. Real shame that Shelby squad wasn't able to win it all against Clinton. Would hear the weekly scores over the PA and they always seemed to be up 49-0 at halftime.
If we can stay healthy, we may be able to add another one this year. I don't remember the last time I said that before we had a practice but the pieces are in place to be special come playoff time.Never dude. Burns has one. They’re in the club.
We loading up brother. We were already gonna be good but we loading it on up.
we looking to open up a can of

Not a bad point considering what most have read about how good KM is supposed to be.It just doesn't add up or make sense. KM always on here talking about all the talent, and how great they are gonna be for the next 5-6 years, but yet kids are transferring out to go to other schools. It just doesn't appear that those kids believe they are gonna be great for the near future. If all signs are pointing up, why would a great player want to leave your school??? If he is gonna be an "absolute stud" on defense at Crest, why wouldn't he be a "absolute stud" on defense at KM???????? Are your coaches not playing him in the correct position??? It definitely smells of an issue within the KM program. Maybe yall are gonna be "so good" that this "absolute stud" can't feel a need for KM. I guess time will tell........
I dont think it's a coaching issue. Sometimes a correct position isn't a 'want or preferred' position from a player. I dont know who is transferring out and I know KM coach gets ragged on but you dont attract talent like he does if actual football people think you aren't a really good coach. At his last school, kids was moving away from as far as Georgia to come play for him at that small school in SC. This year you have a QB (d1 offers) coming in that is already sponsored by a sports equipment company, trains with pro qbs and a couple days before the draft was asked to come throw for 1st round pick KC Conceptions workout. You have a defensive end (d1 offers) coming that has the potential to be a 5 star recruit. These families are connected deep into the football world, they are not sending their kids to bad coaching. Not a bad point considering what most have read about how good KM is supposed to be.
Dang...if S L got them gunz from eating all them Cheeto's, the rest of us old geezers better get a bag or two. Apparently the potted meat ain't stacking up!
I get that. The thing is, it's the kids that have played for him that are leaving. You can sell all day but do your customers keep coming back?I dont think it's a coaching issue. There are a lot of dynamics that play into a kid leaving that goes way beyond coaching. The narrative of KM not having a state plays a part, some of the guys TRAINING these kids in the off- season play a huge part, our head coaches are outsiders, and we have had parents not understanding the recruiting process and have blamed coaches for that. We actually have a jv kid with minimal varsity film see Thompson from Crest, Hollifield from Shelby, and their own teammates with offers and their parents get upset when their kid does not have an offer. It’s sad and hilarious at the same time. Also it looks these kids will be staying in KM. The story that is not told is how many of these kids transferred and regretted leaving Kings Mountain. The grass is not always greener on the other side.It just doesn't add up or make sense. Sometimes you have to make a move that you think gets you more exposure. Whether that happens or not depends on the individual. Im all for moves if you think it benefits your next level goals. I have heard that one of the biggest difference between this coaching regime and past is that its all competition driven and nothing is given. You come in work hard and win the spot, simple and how its supposed to be. Maybe some that left was wanting some guarantees or assurances at certain positions, but these coaches are old school type. I get what you are saying though.I get that. The thing is, it's the kids that have played for him that are leaving. You can sell all day but do your customers keep coming back?
How many good players have Burns lost to Crest over the years in years Burns was suppose to be good? Not a bad point considering what most have read about how good KM is supposed to be.

Do you want me to name Burns players and prospective players that have left for Crest through the years? lolI get that. The thing is, it's the kids that have played for him that are leaving. You can sell all day but do your customers keep coming back?
It now appears the kids are staying. Some of these adults have to stop promising kids and parents things that the coach has no control over. It’s wild out here lol.Sometimes you have to make a move that you think gets you more exposure. Whether that happens or not depends on the individual.
