That would seem to be a pretty big pick up for KM. Can they keep him is the question? Current QB is a soph, would this young man be willing to play JV for 2 years? KM has lost a good bit of talent over the last year or 2. If they can ever hold on to what they have they could be really really tough to beat.

Social Media says 2030 QB Jordan Jenkins will be playing for KM next season
Yes, some have him ranked number 1 player in NC for 2030. Have to give another shout out because his brother will be 2 years behind him and is a highly ranked qb already also. Stabilized, hopefully for the next 6 years. Im just glad they didnt go further west as what I was first hearing months ago. Being well known on the travel circuit, I just wonder if others follow.

Im also assuming that last years qb is gone and if not, best one wins. KM only will lose 2 or 3 starters on offense and 3 on defense with last years starters being sophomore heavy. The success of the jv(undefeated), middle school(undefeated and almost giving up no points for the season) and the next two grades (5th and 6th) coming behind this middle school team that is supposed to be better than that group, should mean talent is still there. Keep developing and working hard is all everyone can do.

Crestrulz called me this morning and told me Sausages said " Jordan Jenkins, Michael Jordan, Mr Jenkins from the commericial" it wont matter... And followed up by saying "We still gonna beat them by 40"

#1 player in NC and I've never heard of him.... Where is he coming from?

8th grader that played high school varsity for a private school to my understanding. Has a couple D1 offers. Heard he has good family support and puts in a lot of work at the position. Already seen another high ceiling receiver will also be moving to KM. More to come and it all makes the county better.

Last year’s qb is still in KM. KM was okay with him leaving if his family went that route. The incoming kid lives in KM already but was commuting to Ambassador Christian. Best overall player wins the job.
The sophomore, freshmen, and seventh grade classes will be amongst the best to ever hit KM. That eighth grade classes is very good also. The current KM freshmen class is going to be one of very best to hit CC. KM had freshmen and a boatload of sophomore playing significant minutes on varsity and the jv still went undefeated without those guys who were pulled up. I put them with the Kobe Paysour/ Day Day Wilson class, the Kareem Marshall/Julius Curry/Mariko Feemster class, and the Shamar Finney/Bryant Malloy/Chris Coleman class when it comes to power 5 talent in one individual class.
I noticed the KM adm’s continue to rise with all the new homes in KM. No data yet but I am sure if the trend continues the impact will be positive on the football side.

Yeah when I asked about him a while back, all I could find was that he was from KM. Wasn't sure if they was still in the area or not. And yes, I said a few years ago that those middle and intermediate school numbers was increasing each grade level by at least 100 by time they got to the high school. I think KM has one more alignment in 6A and then its onto 7A.
Another question you may know SD...has there been some other transfers already moved into the school? I had seen online that 3 from 1 Gaston county school had but wasnt sure if that was just talk or not.

Yes, I definitely know of one for sure that enrolled over Christmas break. A sure fire starter who is a KM kid who moved to Gastonia after middle school but has moved back. I am hearing things about other transfers but waiting to its confirmed. One of Burns returning starters parents bought a home in KM. He is a rising senior but it will be interesting to see what happens with that. He would be a huge pickup also. I did hear that Crest has a big pickup out of GC coming their way. We will see.
I also remember you talking about the student numbers. I believe KM ADM’s were almost 200 students higher than projected this year.

Get to enjoy 6A for at least the next 4 years.

Great seeing all the signings and quite a few to Gardner Webb.
It's about time GWU came home. The amount of kids that have been passed up over the years is unbelievable. All 4 schools have sent kids elsewhere just to see our own college struggle and not even look at them. If they play their cards right, GWU can become a powerhouse over time.

NIL and the portal will create much more opportunity to schools like GWU and Lenoir-Rhyne. This isn’t just coincidence or a sudden awakening.

GWU current coaching staff are really prioritizing their own backyard. Those guys are putting in the work.

Or they just hired a new coach that is putting a priority in bringing in local talent.

I'm sure Quik Snak is throwing down some serious NIL dollars these days.
The effects of NIL combined with the portal is leaving less chances for traditional high school prospects at major schools. The trickle down result is that smaller and/or D2 schools are getting chances at better high school recruits. Doesn’t mean that schools like GWU are paying big NIL bucks.

Dude they hired a new coach in December that is making recruiting Cleveland County more of a priority. Everyone with any understanding of the situation can see that.

You’re far closer to the situation than I am. My point was just that smaller schools can recruit better players than in the past due to the way NIL and mostly the portal have affected high school recruiting. Some really good players are getting left out of Power 5 recruiting in order for those schools to cannibalize each other.
