Shelby versus East Rutherford. Game will be over by mid 3rd quarter. Shelby. 49-14.

Crest versus KM: Crest has a vanilla offense. However, all they do is win, If KM can stop Crest's 4 bread and better plays, which is Tre left, right, and up the middle, along w/ the screen pass to Tyshun Odom, I feel like KM can win this game. Oh yeah, a screen to Tre, too, so their 5 plays. Be that as it may, Crest pulls out a close one, 24-21 or 17-14, by 3.

Burns vs Bye. The injury plagued Bulldogs get some much needed time off.

I will one up my man Lion Attack, and say that this game will be over before they get off the bus. Lots of snaps for the young guys tonight. Speaking of young guys...LA, is Mcmullens from the JV related to our old friend Chris? Shelby 58 - ER 14

Lion Attack, your post brought back memories of my youth. When someone would say something exceptionally stupid, someone would reply "You bout a dumbass boy"

Seems to apply here.

I heard when they announced the Crest/KM score at East tonight, there was a collective butt clench on the Shelby side. Nov 6 will be here before you know it.

Crest offense very sloppy...D does look pretty good...On offense lot of pentlys, lot of fumbles or dropped balls.
Km played to stop run,good move by Crest coaches they saw it and used short screens,a few long pass plays...Km coaches never ajusted to it...they worried more bout middle.
Willie had big night,but he was hammerd a bunch,and made some mistakes...grounding....time run out...
Still a good win for Crest

Shelbyfan, KM coaches were in a pickle last night. They had a "Pick your Poison" situation. They chose to stop the run and did a very good job. I'm sure they didn't think Green could throw on them like he did. Crest shut up the naysayers last night that thought Crest was one dimensional. Crest offense can adjust to any defense and be successful. And regarding your quote about Green making mistakes, he is a 17 yr old kid. KM brought tons of pressure on every snap. Any QB will make some bad decisions under that kind of pressure. Green performed extremely well. Looking more like the Crest/Shelby game will be a great one

My comments about Green where not in bad way,but to say as a Sr Qb i wondered if not play much this season in 2nd half etc and getting most pressure had to do with it...
And i thought at half time KM coaches would adjust,and start playing back in the lanes instead of blitzing. But they never did...

You cannot beat Crest playing man and stacking the box. Not going to happen. A defense will have to be able to contain them while playing cover two but playing man coverage is asking for it. KM has an athletic team but Crest has too much speed to cover it with no help over the top. Crest is a great team and have a really good chance to repeat. I am not on drugs for giving Crest props but it is what it is. Shelby has a great chance this year for sure but that will be answered in a few weeks.
