That boy gonna get a tongue lashing from K.
What is funny was later in the game they showed a replay of it and then showed the 2 coaches talking and the kid was standing behind the Clemson Coach. K walks over too him, gets him by the neck and pulls him close so he can whisper in his ear. The announcers said it was a nice gesture by coach K to show forgiveness and mercy to the kid so he wouldn't feel bad. I was thinking have they not heard of the tongue lashings he gives opposing players? I mean he thinks he has the right to scold opposing players and yet kids like Grayson Allen and Christian Laettner are allowed to trip, stomp and do whatever and he never scolds them in front of people.

Wow. Of course. I might have an unhealthy hatred for that douche bag.

Should be done for at least ten games and apologize to both schools plus the player he hit and yes he did intentionally hit him not a basketball play at all.
and he tried to Grayson Allen him when Moore first stole the ball.

I am glad the kid wasn't hurt. Coul have been really bad.

Now, considering this school (dook) has had players do flagrant and intentional fouls for years, I ain't gonna pretend this isn't some sorta karma on them.

K allowed his players to do things in this vein for years and never disciplined them unless made to. The kid from dook years ago that elbowed the Hansborough kid's nose about off. Grasyon Allen as we all know, and of course Laettner and hte stomp.

So spare me all the righteous indignation. K has allowed dirty play and players fro many, many years.

Grayson Allen is probably conflicted about following him on social media as we speak. There’s no room for that in sports but the Duke fanbase shouldn’t really take to much issue from it after some of the players they have had.

For all that we hate the auburn player, 0, at least he resisted the urge to do this to the Arkansas guy on the last dunk the other night. You could tell he thought about it and wanted to but pulled back. This Clemson guy is a pos and should be done forever.

He was heading for him but the mob of people got in the way.

Makes Bill Laimbeer look like a saint. LOL

Seriously though I haven't seen a play that dirty in a very long time. Good Lord.

Also, the other Duke player just put his hands on his head. He should've jumped on that dude and started throwing haymakers. I would've if that was my teammate.

The mental gymnastics of the announcers in that Hansborough clip are absolutely cringeworthy. How the #$@% could anyone (unbiased) watch that and think Henderson was making a play on the ball?

I can't believe the Duke team didn't attack the kid after that.
Totally agree. If somebody takes out my teammate that way, I'm going after him.

I hate hard fouls on breakaways, but I honestly think this dude just screwed up. I've never seen an intentional foul made like this one. It looks like the guy misjudges where he is at on the floor and was going to run in front of him and go by and when he gets there its too late to stop. Duke has incredible athletes like we do and the Duke guy might of actually just got to the rim faster than the guy thought he would.

In all my years I've never seen that type of move to hurt someone. It was wrong either way, but I'm not sure the intention was how it turned out. I might be bad wrong, but the whole thing just looks out of sorts. Most dirty plays like that makes much harder contact than this. He didn't even get up and under the guy all the way. Dangerous either way and was called appropriately.

Listening to Packer try to defend that play on the Hansborough fall made me almost puke. Reminded me just how awful Packer was.

Regarding Bill Laimbeer, Larry BIrd had the best response to him. Laimbeer had a habit of bodying up a jump shooter then sliding his feet under them so when they came down they'd land on his feet and roll their ankle.

He did it to Robert Parrish really bad one time and Bird told the rest of the Celtics, to do it back to Laimbeer every chance they could. And it put a stop to that ****. Somebody should have spent an entire game trying to trip Grayson Allen every chance they had.

I hadn't seen that Duke vs UNCheat vid in a while. Watching the Dukie Henderson basically punch Hansborough in the face as Billy "Fudge" Packer downplays it and makes excuses reminds why I hated that POS. He was such a biased announcer and didn't even try to hide it.
So glad I never have to listen to his BS announcing of a UK game ever again. Reminded me of this one against Duke......Packer was such a biased turd. You know it's bad when you haven't seen someone for years and dislike them even more over time instead of less.

Yes that **** needs to be shut down immediately. Indefinable suspension so it stops the next punk who tries that. Cause it could easily be one of our guys getting hurt as we're always top 5 in dunks.

I've never seen Billy Packer come off as more of a dumbass then he did in the hansbrough clip, trying to defend henderson's foul as unintentional and w/out malicious intent. Idiot...

Last fist fight I got into (25+ yrs ago) was because of this exact same thing. Dude undercut my little bro like that on a lay-up; it was also following a half-court strip of fellow doing the fouling
