They don't look very disciplined. Seen a lot of one-on-one, spin, fadeaway jumpers. Zion's probably foaming at the mouth at the thought of going there and doing whatever the hell he wants.

It’s amazes me how some just bash the heck out of recruits at the first sign that they may not be all in with the Cats. Even worse he hasn’t said a thing yet.

agreed
most of the time it is the same very small group that does that

i want him at UK but if he chooses another school then best of luck to him

:p gd lord they are struggling with U6!

Zion is their missing piece. He’s that good. They’ll go from an 8-10 seed this year to a national title contender next year. These kids are seeing they don’t need Kentucky or elite programs to compete for a title. Worked for Fultz, Simmons, Newman, Brown, etc. Would have worked for Porter.

That’s what some on this board keep repeating, hoping that the more they screech and belch out the falsehood, somehow it will become true.

That's the coach Zion is trusting to get him correctly prepared for the league??? That's the competition Zion wants to go against everyday in practice that's going to prepare him for the league??? That's the PG Zion wants to rely on to feed him the ball and get him the production he needs to move up draft boards??? That's the roster Zion wants to play with that will only yield him seeing double teams all year???

Is it really worth risking millions & millions, just so your step father can get a coaching job for 1 season???
Seems like a massive massive gamble of his future by choosing his Clemson which is far down the list of programs I'd trust to maximize my NBA prospects

While I’ll agree that some kids feel the need to stay home and will still get recognized by the pros, so far there’s more like Simmons who’s team didn’t even make the tournament then those who were on teams that actually contended for a NC. So really it’s all about the kid’s mentality when it comes to picking a school.

The positive is that the sample size for these cases only increases, and the conclusion is almost unanimously the same each year. Calipari, should he decide to stick with UK for another ten years or so, will have a mountain of evidence at the end of his career, using that evidence to punctuate what I think will be the magnum opus of his recruiting activities.

Perhaps Zion thinks he can change the trend - not unlike Napoleon on the outskirts of Russia, his eyes fixed to the east and the voice in his head telling him it’s not only possible, but likely…

LOL. This bunch cracks me up. Starting a thread screaming that a team that is 14-1 and ranked is "terrible!"

Why? Solely because we're all pissy that a recruit we want might choose them instead of us. Sorry, but no, they're not terrible, in fact they're pretty good.

Who knows what Clemson really is. Their best win is Florida.

Their ACC schedule has seen them play 14th in the conference NC State, 13th Boston College(yea I know they beat 6 deep Duke team), and 9th in conference Louisville. They also lost to a 7-7 Temple team.

Let's see where they are after the 23rd of this month. After playing that terrible NC State team again they then go H,A,H,A versus Miami, UNC, ND, and UVA

Are they getting a new coach?

I can't see them winning a title with their current coach.

He has one tourney win in his career, I believe.

This is not the NBA playoffs, coaches matter in the NCAA tourney.

On top of that Clemson is losing 4 of their top scorers for next year, (about 85% of their offense are seniors). Zion will be their only piece.

That is not true. We start 3 juniors and 2 seniors. Zion will take over for Donte Grantham at the three. We have our backcourt and center back. Perfect situation for him.

We lose 2 of our top 5 scorers to be exact.

Which of these were on actual title contenders. I actually don’t remember except that Simmons team was an absolute bust.

Horrible thread. Clemson is a top 30 team . Very solid squad . Not sure what the OP is even watching . UL is a talented but has a glaring weakness at guard. The forwards on UL might be a top 5 forward collection in the NCAA. Adel, Spaulding , King all will be pros .

Yet the media has ranked them simply so that they can continue to pump their ACC love and create justifications as to why other ranked darlings Puke and UNC won’t drop much in rankings when they lose to those other ACC teams.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Puke and UNC remain in the top 15 with more losses than any other top 15 team come the end of Feb. they’ll drop two to a couple of falsely-hyped ACC teams, then win one against another one ranked ACC team, and the voters will call it justification to keep them steady for rankings.

If you are counting GLeague and overseas. Adel is an adequate spot up jump shooter but a turnover machine when he tries to handle the ball or create. Spaulding is tall and is finally showing some low post moves. Can he do it against talent and size? King still appears and disappears too much to say that he is a sure bet.

No problem but Reed and Mitchell are juniors. Reed transferred from Robert Morris and Mitchell from Vandy and they had to sit out two years ago.

Can you boys just let us have one big time basketball player in my lifetime? I mean he is in our backyard and his step dad played for us. You boys sign 6 to 8 All Americas every year. Geeeez a little love for the underdog.

As said above only two of those are actually seniors. They could start four seniors and Zion next year.
