No, you are the one who thinks conference championships is a crucial stat.

You can't even keep up with your own nonsense.
The only thing that matters is titles...modern ones. I have said that.

You are the one that said something like "in every metric" and then it turns out that you were wrong.

I can remember it like it was yesterday, my friend that went to Pitt was ripping on my Illini friend and Iowa fan...he said "Ha! You guys are so bad at football that even if you combine all your titles you only have 10...that is 1 less than my might Pitt Panthers have, my team has 9!"

Of course I thought all 3 of them were lying...until I went to Winspedia and realized just how dominate those programs are!

yet, we still don't discuss it
Me and literally none of my friends have ever talked about all time win %.

National Championships and that is pretty much it.

Bragging about all time win % is like bragging about getting digits but not closing. All you are is listed as "Free Dinner" in some girls phone.

Of course you and your Nebraska friends never talk about winning percentage. As yours has been plummeting for twenty years. And, we have more NCs than you as well.

But you keep cherry-picking that "modern age". Some would say the modern age is this century.

as in the 2000s?

Nebraska has appeared in more National Title games (1) than mich (0) this century despite the worst 6-year stretch in modern NU Football history

That's super.

You guys seem to think when evaluating your all-time program that the glory years are the only seasons that count. All the seasons count. All the games count.

And that is why Nebraska is in danger of following Minnesota into the category of former blue bloods.

Or do you shoot the **** about that 1904 title? They DOMINATED! Do you guys sit around and listen to the old radio broadcast of that game?

If we were throwing back the beers, we would probably be talking about THIS season.

But, if we were talking all-time best programs, sure, the top winning percentages, and NCs, and recency bias would be discussed.

Umm, did you not look at that site?!?! Ha!

Iowa has 5!

Michigan has 11!
Yea I’ve seen that site but those national tiles aren’t legit…

Ioway 1923 team for example wasn’t National Champions..

We don’t even consider their 1958 team..

LOVE it!

Thank you for being truthful.

Now, if you will entertain me some more, do you guys like, TALK about those teams from the 1904 and say things like "I bet that 1904 team would have KILLED the 1918 team"

"Old Johnny McSideburns would have ran all over Sarge McWilliams and Old Charlie Weatherby"

"Plus, the 1918 team could throw a forward pass legally, the 1904 team couldn't do that, or fly on a plane, because there were no planes"

Majority of my friends talk about how ****** we have been the past 8 years….

Most of Nebraska fans can brag that they have had two of the best teams in the history of college football..

1971 and 1995..

Literally Wolf fans, only they dress up like those amazing wolf teams from the early 1900's.

When you are talking all-time stats, a win in 1923 is equal to a win in 2023. Or, in your case, a loss in 1923 is equal to a loss in 2023.

Nebraska 1971 was your one of your greatest teams, right? But they would get destroyed by 2023 Iowa. So, they no longer matter? Is that your argument?

I have no idea about the 1971 team. Never saw them play, never really read anything about them, I don't think I can name one player on that team. I have never ever talked about them with my Husker friends when we are drinking and/or tailgating.

I have never seen a game of theirs before.

So that’s how you compare teams..

Get lost..Has Michigan ever beat #2,#3, #4 teams that were ranked at the end of the year in the polls?

NO!

what was the greater detroit ymca ranked in 1898?

regardless, to this dipshit mich fan, that win counts the exact same as beating #2 in any given year

Now I wish we would have pounded Michigan in the Rose Bowl instead of blowing out Bear Bryant in the 1972 Orange Bowl.

Oh my god...you are one of THOSE Michigan fans!

Do you tailgate at the high school right by the wolf stadium?

We tailgated there and this old guy (I am guessing you are an old guy with a white beard?) super nice, he really was, but my god, he would NOT STOP TALKING about wolf history and CFB history, which is not bad BUT none of us asked him to tell us about wolf history or CFB history.

It got to the point where I would be like "Hey, you gotta meet by friend Bob" and Bob would come over and I would leave, go hang with my friends and we would stare over at Bob and you (I am guessing it was you) with Bob looking like he wanted to kill himself. And then Bob got out of it by pulling in another one of our friends to talk to you.

It was remarkable.

Beating #2, #3, & #4 is a great accomplishment. I never stated otherwise. But just like the teams from 1971 would beat the teams from 1921, the teams from 2021 would beat the teams of 1971. Football is forever *evolving*. If the sport is fortunate to last another 150 years, what it looks like in the 2100's will be vastly different. Yet, all the great teams of today will still *matter*.

Has Nebraska ever had a perfect season where they outscored every team by an average of 50-0? Total domination.

The good news is, we won't have to wait for a bowl game to settle this.

See you on September 30th.

i can quite literally smell the reddit from you.
Wolf fans only care about win%, total wins and how they think people think they are the Harvard of the midwest.

Of course in the end fans only care about winning it all and Michigan is not even the Harvard of the Big Ten.

Michigan is the Texas of the B1G.

Soft program with softer fans claiming to be returning to golden days that never really existed outside a single outlier year.

Find me a non Husker college football fan who ranks Nebraska ahead of Michigan all time. Michigan is ahead in every measure and leads the head to head. winsipedia

For the past decade you have been one of worst programs in a conference that you claim is terrible, and yet you still want to boast. It is just sad.

You need to get out of the Midwest. Where I live EVERYONE laughs at your joke of a program.

I forgot, I must always remind you that I'm talking about modern college football, not the michigan vs the local ymca or local Indian reservation glory years

my fault. hand up

That's all they've got. They are embarrassment to bluebloods.
