Will not waste my time listening to any of that...what would be great is if there were no callers...that would be worthy attention.
The guy is coming off as nothing but the arrogant a-hole that he truly is. Just keeps repeating the same 3rd grade level insult with nothing to back it up. Anybody that supports the way this guy operates needs help.

I agree it may be a waste of time but I am in, its raining and I had never heard of this dude till about a week ago and I was just curious how anybody would make a statement like that and wanted to hear what fans were going to tell him, plus now he has added Alabama football fans to the UK,WVU fans. Not only is it a very bold to make a statement like that I will be surprised if he doesn't get his head knocked off.

Clay Travis is the Vince McMahon of talk radio. He reminds me of Andy Kaufman( for those old enough to remember) when he went to Memphis and wanted to be a wrestler. He came in and riled up the wrestling fans by insulting them and challenging any woman in the audience to a fight.
Clay Travis is NOTHING. He wants to be something, so he attacks the biggest fan bases in college athletics(UK and Bama). Ignore him and you'll do far more harm to him than any retort you could give him.

The guy is a coward, he would NEVER come to Rupp or be anywhere near the games for UK.

If you can't beat 'em, troll 'em. As a UT fan he's given up his pride for sports and has resorted to pissing off the two biggest fan bases to make money. It's very smart admittedly, but obviously a ***** move.

read an article or two by the guy...never have listened to him. thought id waste some time and tune in after seeing this thread. troll, plain and simple. writes to the lowest common denominator.
I am one of those posters. Clay is different he is a hater no doubt. He is looking for a response and dare I say a scumbag. If he said the things about minorities he says about Kentuckians and West Virginians he would be considered a flaming racist.
However, anyone who picks against us are not haters and ESPN is not out to get us. The refs don't hate us.

Ugh it makes me cringe that UK fans give him what he wants by responding to him on twitter and calling into Pawl's show. This guy is the worst kind of scum, and is not worth the time it takes to respond to him.
It's just like people who try to heckle a comedian. If you think you can out smart and/or out wit him, you're falling right into his trap. He's a professional, has heard it all and will use whatever you say against you to expose you as a idiot/fool.
Half the people that listen think that they can call and "tell him one thing!", the other half that listen to laugh at those who call.
Even if the host isn't all that bright, he still comes out ahead by being able to cut off the caller and then twist the caller's words to mean whatever he wants. We had a discussion about a radio guy on this board and the radio guy read some of the posts online. I didn't hear it but one poster complained that he was completely misquoted.
He didn't outdo anybody on the show tonight, his only retort was that UK and WVU fans are dumb, that's it, that's all he had. He was made to look like nothing other than a troll.
Not to mention Paul has been dissing him the rest of the show, as well as callers, and Matt Jones just came on and made him look foolish.
