I still remember being in the stadium when Howells lost to Sargent in 2011. Howells last game as a standalone school. They had never lost in Memorial Stadium, never played a close game in Lincoln, it was crazy. So anything can happen.

That was a battle.

All possible with the exception of St.Marys vs Sandhills/Thedford in 2nd round. If St.Marys wins the 1st round they will likely be a 15-16 seed and play either Howells-Dodge or Hitchcock County. Depending on what other upsets happen in 1st round.

Is the ainsworth, Bloomfield, Osceola, elm creek, pairings right? On the NSAA site Bloomfield is 6 so they would play elm creek at 11 right and ainsworth at 7 would play Osceola at 10? Or is that wrong

The NSAA for whatever reason doesn't use tie breakers when listing them. So Elm Creek is the 10 and Osceola the 11 when those are factored in.
