Do these first round games count towards the power points? You'd hate to see Team A punished because an extra game for Team B cost them a division. Guess it could work the other way too. If they count do you generally see much movement?

The 16 first round winning teams will be re-seeded 1 through 16 on a statewide bracket using the regular season point system and point system tie breaker.

Heard a rumor the Roberts kid from St Pats went out last week. Anyone have any info on that? I know they have another good back (Moats???) but how does this affect them if it happens?

Got hurt in the 1st period last week against Perkins. Haven't heard the severity of it, but it is a lower body injury. Moats will get a significant increase in carries, and he is more than capable of carrying the load. With their O-line it really makes no difference who is in the backfield. However, defensively I think this will hurt them more than it will offensively.

Jackson is a great kid. He’s the best runningback in 8 man IMO. It stinks others outside of west central Nebraska won’t get to see him play throughout the playoffs.

Moats will get touches as @GrizzzlyPanda said. I don’t think there is a line comparable to NPSP in D1. It hurts their LB corp, but it’s next man mentality at SP.

Give Me Shelby-Rising City and all those points. Plus small money line play. They are a much better football team than that. Could be 4 quarter game there. Give me Cross County -20 as well.
