Clarke will be playing the 3 and probably the Best 3 in the Class. He seems every bit as good as RJ Barrett and can shoot the ball better. He will be our leading scorer and doubt he will be our main facilitator. That would be taking away his strength. He should be on the receiving end of passes. I am not saying he can't pass or create assists but that would be dumb him at point. I doubt CAL is giving up in any if the other targets cause the douche bag Daniels is saying UK will not get certain players.

Cal doesn’t handle his business because of what Anyone in the media says!! He’s a lone wolf! Lol. Clark is the definition of a 2 guard. He’ll be hard to stop for sure. I do agree he’ll score a lot, but he’s a very good passer also and he’ll have plenty assists also. Just a great all around player/Team player ! it’s always nice to have a great teammate who can take over if needed.

I’ve wrote several times that I love Christopher’s game and think he’s the best overall player in this class! My favorite in the 2020 class, That includes leadership qualities and being a team player. I still would love to have him!

Saying that, you absolutely take Clark if he want to be here. Absolutely!!! If we lose someone because of Clark, so be it. I hope Cal still try to get him, but in Cal I trust when it comes to Kentucky Basketball. Lol. These kid like who they like and want to play with who they want to play with.

Wow. I just reread this, the mistakes makes it look like I can’t read. Lol. I use my iPhone mostly on here and it changes words all the time. Haha. Sure it does! Lol. Want- wants! Try- try’s. Many more to. Lol.

With they way it appears cal is wanting to start playing we’ll be seeing our guards do everything. Pro style offense, tons of iso and I bet cal will post Boston and Clarke (assuming he’s ours) a ton. Their height and length will be unstoppable and guards that can post usually become stars in the pros.

I see Clarke as a 3, but I did read a story not too long ago that quoted Clarke saying he wants to be a big PG in college and he referenced like Penny. Hopefully just to troll Memphis and he picks UK. Hell, he can still like Penny as long as he plays for us.

Cal has never played a pro style offense. It's been drive-and-kick, and a defense almost as strong as Virginia's. The only time I can recall him posting guards is because the O broke down or there was foul trouble.

So Christopher is out because of some ambiguous inference?

Details please, otherwise I call BS.

I watch this movie the night before thanksgiving damn near every year it’s been out on video.. The ultimate holiday movie. John Candy was one funny SOB!
Same here, one of my holiday classics I watch every year. I have about every line memorized LOL. Candy was amazing. Gone too soon. Another great movie of his is Summer Rental. It's funny as hell.

Personally, I think Clarke is better at getting his shot on drives than Barrett. Maybe better, overall.

Don't forget Boston and Fletcher. I would love to see a huge class of 7+ and get at least 3 back. Would be nice to have 11+ guys next year instead of being stuck on 10. Cal really seemed like he wanted to up that number this year, but it didn't work out and you can't blame him with the injuries we have had.

Yea, I’ve been drinking and cooking at the same time. Terrible on my part to leave those two off. Apologies to all.

Doubt Richards comes back! Only way we get Brown if Smart is fired!

He may not come back, but he has a greater chance of coming back than he does in being drafted after this season. Same goes for Quickley, Brooks, Allen, and maybe even Juzang.

I say the chance is less than 30%. He may not get drafted but, he’ll most likely not return since his gf will be gone! He could follow the Gabriel model!

Brooks has not played one game yet, and you all ready have him coming back next year ? When will you learn ? Cal with the kids one year, he will be on the NBA radar, just depends on where. With his freak athleticism, he could be in the 1st round with that alone. POTENTIAL and UPSIDE are two of the NBA's favorite words. That and athletic. Which he has all of the above.

I have learned. Have you? Every year, there's a handful of fans who think we'll lose all of our fringe guys to the draft, even when many of them (outside Whitney, Maxey and to a much smaller extent, EJ and Ashton) don't project in the draft. Do you have a similar statement prepared about Juzang, Hagans, Montgomery, and maybe even Richards or IQ about why we should all be on NBA watch for those guys? Do you really think all of our fringe prospects will be drafted? If you're using history as a determinant on draft projection, you might want to factor in the reality that almost all of our OAD guys were composite top 20 freshmen and those who didn't bolt after a single season didn't really shock the world when they came back for a second year because they weren't ever really projected. There's exceptions for guys like Bledsoe, Herro, Booker, SGA, and a few others, but for every Herro there's two Lees and Matthews staring back at you.

All of those guys are fringe, joining Brooks in the camp of guys who need to prove themselves before becoming remotely draftable. We have four or five guys who are in that Wiltjer/Lee/Matthews level camp. With that many guys auditioning for second round draft slots, I think it's only logical to think a few of them will come back. Brooks, because of EJ's and Kahlil's presence on the team as probable starters (and because of Brooks' rawness), looks to me like a logical candidate to return.

What difference is there in our offense between a 2 and a 3? Clarke couldn't play with two other guards, in a position we've played guys from Briscoe to Knox to Hami to Keldon?
There’s zero difference in the 2 and 3 in the offense that Kentucky runs. If Isaiah Briscoe & Trey Lyles can play the 3, Clarke will be fine & dandy.
